Why is cheese is important for China?
It is part of 小康, wellness factor that may contribute to the improvement of
living standard of Chinese people.
The western and northern regions in China, characterized by lower levels of
industrialization, are the core areas for livestock and animal production
(including milk production). Often, the production systems used are lowefficient. However, those regions may receive special government support
for business development.
Italy has long history of cheese production and has great interest in
exporting «made-in-Italy» cheese.
There are still some question that remain open:
- How can the cheese taste be introduced to Chinese people?
- How can Italian companies achieve success in China?
- What is the ideal model of collaboration?
- What kind of government support may be provided?
Some slides of our commercial platform confirm the interest of Chinese
people in cheese!
Thank you for your attention!
