THIS WEEK IN THE PARISH
“But, when the Spirit of truth comes, he will lead you to the complete truth.”
Introduction
The Holy Spirit of God, like tongues of flame, comes down upon the disciples, and the Church is born. Let us rejoice
today in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Today’s Readings
First Reading: Acts 2:1-11
God’s Holy Spirit brings unity and understanding to all the people of the earth.
Second Reading: Galatians 5:16-25
The life of the Spirit and the life of self-indulgence are totally opposed.
Gospel: John 15:26-27; 16:12-15
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth and will lead us into all truth.
