BAND INFO
Founded in 2013, the band is dedicated to the classic Scorpions songs of
the 70ies and 80ies when the Scorps were at their most creative and
among the most successful and famous heavy rock acts of the world.
SCORPION STING‘s repertoire does not just encompass the highlights of
platinum albums such as „Love Drive“, „Blackout“ and „Love At First
Sting“ – true classics of the „Tokyo Tapes“ era are also brought to new
life. From the grand stadium ballads to the hardest tunes the Scorpions
had to offer, SCORPION STING‘s five experienced musicians are able to
live up to the expectations of a most critical rock audience.

Vocals
Not enough that his voice and
phrasing is shockingly close to the
one of the original Scorpions
singer Klaus Meine, Frank also
adresses his audience in between
the songs in the distinctive style
of his Hannoveranian role-model.

Guitars
This creative sound architect is
not only able to make the
ultrasonic styles of Matthias
Jabs, Uli Jon Roth and Michael
Schenker his own, he also
meticulously recreates the
specific sounds of the respective
Scorpions songs.

Nothing is as fundamental to the
core of the Scorpions sound like
Rudolf Schenker‘s Flying V. Ralf is
the master of the brute riffs
emerging from this monster of a
guitar and he also knows how to
create a physical rock hurricane.

discreetly driving basis and
very few bass players understand this apparent contradiction as well as Stefan does.

perfection of a Swiss clock. Lars
goes for the ideal compromise
between James Kottak‘s modern
style and the impeccable
precision of the classic
