I BOMB SCARE AT ITO BUS STAND
POLICE cordoned off the bus stand near ITO on
Wednesday afternoon following an alert from a
passerby that a suitcase was lying unattended
at the bus stand.
POLICE rushed bomb squad personnel and a
sniffer dog to the spot. The sniffer dog first
ascertained it was not a bomb and then the
suitcase was opened.
POLICE said the suitcase appeared to have been
forgotten there by a bus commuter. They are
trying to trace the owner from the documents
retrieved from the suitcase.
