DREEZEN EARNS SKUSA S1 CHAMPIONSHIP
LAS VEGAS, NV. The final round of
the FIKSE SKUSA Pro Tour came to
a close in Nevada at the Las Vegas
convention centre where PSL would
earn top honours in S1 and TAG
Senior.
With the new venue and new track in
place at the West Gate hotel in Las
Vegas, a new challenge was presented
to the entire paddock. Factory Birel ART
pilot, Jordon Lennox-Lamb (Factory
IAME), took this challenge with ease,
taking pole and winning all 3 heats in
the top shifter category ofKZ2. In the
finale, an engine issue would force Jordon to retire on lap 8.
Factory Ricciardo Kart driver, Rick
Dreezen (Swedetech) entered the final
round of Pro-Tour leading the championship, defending the title for PSL
Karting. Rick was on point this entire
season aboard his DR-01-KZ, closing
the championship up Saturday in heat
3. A very successful weekend for Ricciardo Kart and the entire team.
TAG Senior, Birel ART/PSL Karting
driver, Oliver Askew (Sargeant Power),
battled in the heats for top position,
however contact with barriers and unavoidable accidents, due to the nature
of the street circuit, prevented further

promotion throughout the weekend.
Oliver would start P20 in the final and
eventually find his way to the top 15.
Askew would also claim P3 overall in
the Tag Senior Championship.
Thomas Neubauer (Swedetech) would
qualify P3 in S2, and run top 3 in almost all three heats. In the final, luck
would not run on his side and would
be forced to retire.
Michael Patrizi (Australia Ricciardo &
Birel ART Importer), of Patrizi Corse put
up the best S4 (Masters Shifter) performance under the tent earning P8 in the
final.
“This weekend was an especially
strong one for PSL and Birel ART under the lights in Las Vegas”, explained
PSL Karting Team Manager, Andrew
Campbell. “We wanted to show North
America that Birel ART is capable of
competing on all track conditions, and
for 2015 we have accomplished that
task”
“I’d like to thank all our clients, partners and drivers for the past year of
success, and wish you all a happy
holiday off-season”.
