Exterior
Here's a sedan that exudes character and style across the range. The exterior design gives
several subtle cues to the car’s true capabilities. Pronounced lines and strong proportions give
the robust new Jetta's compact body shape a sharp, confident look.
Adding to the Jetta’s appeal are new light signatures, sculpted body surfaces and fresh
detailing front and rear. The aerodynamic front end directs air around the car, aided by the
distinct bonnet lines and carefully-contoured roof and rear design.

The new Jetta’s seamless laser welding provides strength and rigidity while the lowered sills,
body coloured detailing and LED rear registration plate light add visual interest. A range of
bold alloy wheels hint at the car’s driving appeal and complete the stylish look.
The new 155TSI Highline Sport sets the standard and is inarguably one of our best appointed
models with Bi-Xenon headlights, LED driving lights and tail lights, front fog lights and sporty
18-inch Charleston alloy wheels.

The new Jetta has a quality interior throughout the entire range. Every journey is more
relaxing and enjoyable in the supportive and comfortable seats trimmed in quality Black
Cloth for the 118TSI Trendline and high-grade Black Comfort Cloth for Comfortline models.
Smooth Vienna leather appointed∆ seating with heated front seats add a premium touch to
Highline models.
Grip the leather-bound multi-function steering wheel and controls fall easily to hand allowing
you to operate Bluetooth® phone connectivity. Taking advantage of the Jetta’s crystal-clear
sound system, you can stream music wirelessly from your phone and, of course, take and
make calls. The intuitive Media Device Interface (MDI) is also easily accessible connecting
your media player to the audio system using a USB cable or *Apple device by using an
accessory cable.

With a heightened level of convenience and visual appeal, the spacious cabin abounds with
thoughtful touches for driver and passenger alike including storage bins and pockets,
adjustable front seats and tasteful decorative inserts.
Wherever your destination, the new Jetta seats five with complete ease and offers an

The new Jetta features an impressive level of equipment. Bluetooth® phone
connectivity with audio streaming puts you in control with outstanding clarity.
Comfortline and Highline models come standard with dual zone climate
control air conditioning, RNS510 satellite navigation system and for extra
peace of mind a Rear View Camera (RVC) with static guidance lines.

Myriad driver assistance systems inspire serious confidence in all conditions.
In addition to Electronic Stabilisation Program and traction control systems,
the Jetta now offers XDL (Extended Electronic Differential Lock) as standard
to further enhance its cornering ability. Another valuable new inclusion is the
clever driver Fatigue Detection system to accompany you on longer journeys.
And all this is in addition to a suite of active and passive safety systems.
Volkswagen’s TSI and TDI engines provide exceptional fuel economy and
compelling performance while electro-mechanical power steering
provides the driver with outstanding feel and precision. The 118TSI Trendline
comes standard with the 6-speed manual transmission or the optional Direct
Shift Gearbox (DSG). DSG is an advanced 6 or 7-speed transmission in
which the clutch and the gearshift are controlled electronically for seamless
automatic gear shifting.

The new Jetta's broad colour palette complements the stylish interior trim,
making configuration a simple pleasure. Customise the bodywork of your
Jetta by choosing from a range of paint finishes that includes Pure White,
striking metallic options and Pearl Effect Deep Black. A quality Black
Cloth upholstery is standard for the 118TSI Trendline, while high-grade
Black Comfort Cloth is standard for the 118TSI Comfortline. The Highline
models add extra sophistication with a luxurious Black Vienna leather
appointed interior◊.
