It is in your interest cpcm procure Budget control due to the following;
In Germany the Architect overlooks the details within the cost plan. If later, the construction costs increase,
which they not surprisingly they do, then the architect, if he is the cost planner receives a higher fee! (HOAI)
Under-budgeting is common and unpleasant extra construction costs and fees follow suit. Cost control is non
existent. That is a poor service for any developer.

It is my experience here that the client prefers a far more specialist cost planner for this task. The RICS,
particularly the Chartered Quantity Surveyor is a reputable specialist, favoured in cost planning detail. This
