MONEY MATTERS WORKSHOP
Many adult literacy learners live on low incomes, and find it a struggle to cover everyday costs, let alone
plan for their future. They are more likely to use high-fee payday loans and cheque cashing outlets, miss
out on opportunities for government contributions to their children’s education through RESPs, and overlook opportunities for tax savings through RRSPs.
More than 1000 adult learners across Canada have been helped by Money Matters,
a free financial literacy workshop developed by ABC Life Literacy Canada and taught by trained TD volunteer-tutors.
For literacy organizations, libraries and community learning centres, Money Matters is a turnkey program—you provide the room and the participants, and ABC Life Literacy provides the teachers and class
sets of workbooks.
Would Money Matters work for your organization?
Register for a free 30-minute information webinar to be held on Wednesday, November 13 at 1:00
EST. Find out how Money Matters works, and how it can start your adult learners on their journey to a
better financial future.
