2009 was in every sense a challenging year that highlighted
the importance of true values. In the face of all the challenges,
we have worked hard to achieve even better standards to back
our motto “life made comfortable”.
Two years ago we decided to start up a project with the
purpose of implementing an auditable management system
for environmental aspects and social responsibility. Many of
the routines were already in place in relation to our suppliers,
employees and environment, but now we are able to document
and improve our work.
The SA8000 social accountability standard is based on eight
criteria, which we must continuously ensure that we and our
suppliers live up to. These criteria are based on international
workplace norms defined by the International Labour
Organisation, ILO, the Universal Declaration of Human
Rights and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
In relation to the environment, Cane-line complies with the
well-known ISO14001 standard, which is an environmental
management system. It ensures that Cane-line continuously
maintains the commitment to follow the best practice in
environmental management. At our own premises in Denmark
we have already benefited from these efforts. For example,
we have saved 7 % on electricity consumption in only six
months, because the focus of all employees has highlighted
possible savings.
We can never claim that we reach the goals 100 % in all areas,
since it is a running target. However, we strongly believe that
by taking small steps all the time, we move forward in the
right direction.
What all this means to our customers is: Cane-line products
live up to the highest standards, also when it comes to
environmental aspects and social responsibility. So when
customers relax in Cane-line products, we hope there is
more than the great comfort and design of the furniture
to be appreciated.
2010 will be interesting with regard to new products. In the
following pages we present among other things an entirely
new table concept, SHARE, in stainless steel. A new modern
lounge group, FLOW, comes with a completely new weaving
style and a new modern graphite colour too.
So again I am proud to present our entirely new catalogue
illustrating design and craftsmanship as we believe they
deserve to be shown.

Johannes Foersom and Peter Hiort-Lorenzen (MDD)
are two of Scandinavia’s most renowned and successful furniture designers. For some years now they have
been designing beautiful yet simple furniture for
Cane-line in accordance with our philosophy – Life
made comfortable.
Trinity, Kingston, Explore, Shellton – all with a
beautiful design and great comfort were the start
of a successful cooperation. The innovative Safari
lounger with its characteristic open white weave, and
the simple and streamlined Pure table in stainless
steel and fiber concrete, were the novelties in 2009.
This year, we broaden the eye-catching Savannah
lounge collection with two separate luxurious daybeds
– unite them to create an island for two, spacious and
inviting, or use it alone to enjoy the sun or relax in
the shade under the floating sunscreen.
Design by Strand+Hvass
Christina Strand (MDD) og Niels Hvass (MAA) are part
of the new generation of Scandinavian designers and
the creative heads of STRAND+HVASS. Their concept
of furniture design is to set the human individual in
the center and they strive to combine the expression,
the shape and the material used to make their design
comfortable, functional and unique.
Last year, the successful designers created the
modern and elegant Breeze line, consisting of a dining
chair, a lounge chair, a lounge table and a side table.
For the 2010 collection, they added the sleek Breeze
highback lounge chair with a matching footstool to the
comfortable range.

THE CANE-LINE COLLECTION
All the woven furniture in the collection is hand-made
using Cane-line’s unique fibres, which are a solution-dyed,
hardwearing polyethylene material. The fibre is produced
in Europe and has unsurpassed qualities. The furniture is
dirt-repellent, very strong and extremely environmentally
friendly, as it is toxin-free and recyclable. Unlike traditional
woven furniture, Cane-line’s products will withstand the
changing seasons, from pouring rain to burning sun. As
well as being non-fading, the woven collection is UV-,
water- and frost-resistant and requires no maintenance.
In addition to woven furniture, the collection includes a
wide range of tables and accessories, which are also made
from materials that require minimal maintenance and
will withstand the changing weather. – A description of
materials and maintenance can be found in the PRODUCT
CARE section on pages 70-71. To keep your furniture in
good condition, we recommend storing it indoors or under
a furniture cover during the winter. The furniture can be
cleaned with ordinary household cleaners.
Alle fletmøbler i kollektionen er håndlavet af de unikke
Cane-line fibre, som er et gennemfarvet, slidstærkt polyethylene-materiale. Fiberen er europæisk produceret og har
uovertrufne egenskaber. Fletmøblerne er smudsafvisende,
meget stærke og yderst miljøvenlige, idet de er toxinfrie og
genanvendelige. Cane-line’s fletmøbel-serie tåler til forskel
fra traditionelle fletmøbler årstidernes skiften: silende regn
og brændende sol. Fletkollektionen er UV-, farve-, vand- og
frostbestandig og kræver ingen vedligeholdelse. Som supplement til fletmøblerne er der i kollektionen et bredt sortiment af borde og accessories, som ligeledes er fremstillet
i materialer, der kræver et minimum af vedligeholdelse, og
tåler omskiftelige vejrforhold. – Beskrivelse af materialer
og vedligehold fremgår af afsnittet PRODUCTCARE på side
70-71. For at holde møblerne i god stand anbefaler vi, at
man opbevarer dem inden døre eller under et møbel-cover
om vinteren. Møblerne kan rengøres med almindelige
rengøringsmidler.
Alle Flechtmöbel der Kollektion sind aus den einzigartigen Cane-line-Fasern handgeflochten. Die aus einem
durchgefärbten, strapazierfähigen Polyethylen-Material
in Europa hergestellten Fasern zeichnen sich durch
unübertroffene Eigenschaften aus. Die Flechtmöbel sind
schmutzabweisend, sehr strapazierfähig und äußerst

Anders als herkömmliche Flechtmöbel hält die Cane-line
Flechtmöbel-Serie dem Wechsel der Jahreszeiten stand:
strömendem Regen und brennender Sonne. Die Flechtmöbelkollektion ist UV-, farb-, wasser- und frostbeständig und
erfordert keine Pflege. Als Ergänzung zu den Flechtmöbeln
bietet die Kollektion ein breites Sortiment an Tischen und
Zubehörartikeln, die ebenfalls aus sehr pflegeleichten
Materialien hergestellt sind und wechselnden Wetterbedingungen Stand halten. – Eine Beschreibung der Materialien
und deren Pflege finden Sie im Abschnitt PRODUCTCARE
auf Seite 70 - 71. Um die Möbel in einem guten Zustand zu
halten, empfiehlt es sich, sie im Winter drinnen oder unter
einer Möbelschutzhülle aufzubewahren. Die Möbel lassen
sich mit handelsüblichen Reinigungsmitteln reinigen.
Les meubles de la collection Cane-line sont tressés à
la main par des artisans avec la fibre Cane-line (produite
en Europe), aux qualités incomparables. Les meubles sont
antistatiques, très résistants et respectueux de l’environnement: sans toxine et recyclables. Les meubles de la
collection Cane-line son insensibles aux aléas climatiques
(pluie ou soleil) à la différence du rotin traditionnel. Ils sont
traités pour résister, avec un minimum de soin, aux rayons
ultra-violets, à la décoloration, à l’humidité et au gel. Pour
compléter la collection, nous proposons un grand choix de
tables et accessoires également fabriqués avec des matériaux qui ne requièrent que très peu d’entretien et résistent
aux intempéries. – Vous trouverez au chapitre PRODUCT-
CARE (pp. 70-71) toutes les indications concernant les
caractéristiques des matériaux et l’entretien des meubles.
Pour protéger vos meubles en hiver, il est conseillé de les
rentrer ou de les couvrir avec une housse. Leur entretien
s’effectue avec les nettoyants ménagers usuels.

condições recomendamos conservar os móveis em ambientes
fechados ou cobertos com capa para móveis durante o

WEAVE:
All the woven furniture in the collection is handmade using Cane-line’s unique fibres. The fibres
are maintenance free and we recommend just
cleaning the products with ordinary household
cleaners.
GLASS:
Glass tabletops – in 8 mm tempered glass – can
be used on top of woven surfaces. Choose either
black or white frosted 8 mm tempered glass for
SHARE tables.
TEAK:
Teak tabletops are supplied untreated and will
develop a patina over time. If you wish to treat
your teak tabletop, we recommend using teak oil
– this will naturally make the wood darker!
SLATE:
Slate tabletops are made from natural slate
mosaics and must be treated with an impregnating
agent before use to make them more resistant
to dirt, wind and weather. Slate tabletops are not
frost proof and must therefore be stored indoors
during the winter.
GRANITE:
Granite tabletops are made of natural stone
that has been polished until smooth and shiny.
Small indentations/shrinkage cracks and colour
variations must be expected in the polished
surface. Granite requires minimal maintenance,
but we recommend using a sealer on the
surface at least once a year.
TRAVERTINE:
Travertine is a limestone with small, natural
cavities, giving it a rustic look. It also has lovely,
natural variations in colour. No two travertine
tiles are ever identical. It is advisable to store
travertine indoors during the winter to prevent
frost damage. The tiles come impregnated, but
it is advisable to wipe up any spills of red wine,
for example, immediately.
STAINLESS STEEL:
Stainless steel is extremely weatherproof.
However, tarnishing can occur in the form of
flash rust. This can be removed using a stainless
steel cleaner. Regular cleaning with soapy water
can help to protect the surface of the stainless
steel and so minimise the effects of chlorine,
etc. It is also advisable to wipe the base with
acid-free oil at least twice a year to minimise
tarnishing.
FIBER CONCRETE:
Fibre concrete is a mixture of cement and
quartz sand to which fibreglass has been added.
This combination produces a very light, strong
tabletop with a contemporary appearance. As the
tabletops are cast and finished individually, each
one is unique, i.e. there are variations in shading
and no two tabletops are exactly the same. It is
advisable to protect the tabletop with a suitable
cover or store it in a lean-to during the winter.
FURNITURE COVERS:
These covers are made from a strong, waterproof, solution-dyed polyester fabric, which will
protect furniture during the winter, though not
against frost. Covering furniture for the winter
makes spring cleaning easier and prolongs the
life of the furniture. It is advisable to check covers after heavy falls of rain/snow and remove any
water that has collected so as to ensure that the
furniture remains properly covered.
To ensure that your furniture lasts as long as
possible and keep it in good condition, Cane-line
recommends bringing your furniture indoors for
the winter.

CERAMIC TILES:
These tiles are made of porcelain, which is
an extremely strong material that can be left
outdoors all year round. They are made using
natural materials, so there may be small
variations in colour between tiles.
WEAVE – GEFLECHT:
Alle Flechtmöbel der Kollektion sind aus den
einzigartigen Cane-line-Fasern geflochten.
Diese Fasern brauchen keinerlei Pflege. Es
empfiehlt sich, die Produkte einfach mit einem
normalen Reinigungsmittel abzuwischen.
GLASS – GLAS:
Die Glasplatten aus 8 mm starkem ESG-Glas
können auf den geflochtenen Platten verwendet
werden. Für die SHARE-Tische stehen gefrostetes
schwarzes oder gefrostetes weißes 8 mm ESGGlas zur Auswahl.
TEAK – TEAK:
Die Teakholzplatten sind bei der Auslieferung
unbehandelt. Im Laufe der Zeit entsteht eine
Patina. Möchte man die Teakholzplatte pflegen,
so empfiehlt es sich, sie mit Teaköl zu behandeln.
Dadurch wird das Holz dunkler!
SLATE – SCHIEFER:
Die Schieferplatten bestehen aus NaturschieferMosaiken. Vor dem Gebrauch muss die Schieferplatte mit Imprägniermittel behandelt werden;
dadurch wird die Platte gegenüber Schmutz und
Witterungseinflüssen widerstandsfähiger. Die
Schieferplatte ist nicht frostsicher und muss
deshalb in der kalten Jahreszeit in geschlossenen
Räumen gelagert werden.
GRANITE – GRANIT:
Granit ist ein Natursteinprodukt. Auf der blankund glattpolierten Oberfläche können daher
Unebenheiten oder Schwundrisse sowie
Farbabweichungen vorkommen. Granit ist
äußerst pflegeleicht; es empfiehlt sich jedoch,
die Oberfläche mindestens einmal jährlich
mit einem Imprägniermittel zu versiegeln.
TRAVERTINE – TRAVERTIN:
Travertin ist ein Kalkstein und weist von Natur
aus kleine Vertiefungen auf, die dem Material eine
rustikale Optik verleihen. Der Naturstein variiert
in seinen Farbschattierungen, so dass keine
Travertinplatte der anderen gleicht. Es empfiehlt
sich, Travertin in geschlossenen Räumen zu
überwintern, um Frostschäden zu vermeiden.
Die Platten sind bei der Auslieferung imprägniert; es empfiehlt sich jedoch, die Tischplatte
sofort abzuwischen, wenn z. B. Rotwein darauf
verschüttet wird.

WEAVE – FLET:
Alle kollektionens fletmøbler er håndlavet af de
unikke Cane-line fibre. Fiberen er vedligeholdelsesfri, og det anbefales blot at rengøre
produkterne med alm. rengøringsmidler.
GLASS – GLAS:
Glaspladerne – 8mm hærdet glas – kan anvendes ovenpå fletpladerne. Til SHARE bordene
vælges enten frostet sort eller hvid 8mm
hærdet glas.
TEAK – TEAK:
Teakpladerne leveres ubehandlet, og vil med
tiden patinere. Ønsker man at behandle teakpladerne, anbefales det at give dem teaktræsolie, – derved får træet en mørkere tone!
SLATE – SKIFER:
Skiferpladerne består af mosaikker af naturskifer. Skiferpladen skal inden ibrugtagning
behandles med imprægneringsmiddel, hvilket
gør pladen mere modstandsdygtigt over for
snavs samt vejr og vind. Skiferpladen tåler ikke
frost og skal derfor opbevares inden døre om
vinteren.
GRANITE – GRANIT:
Granit er en natursten, der er poleret og frem
står blank og glat. Det må forventes, at der kan
forekomme små fordybninger/svindrevner og
farveforskelle i den polerede overfalde. Granit
kræver et minimum af vedligeholdelse, men det
anbefales at forsegle overfladen med imprægnering mindst én gang om året.
TRAVERTINE – TRAVERTIN:
Travertin er en kalksten og er fra naturens side
præget af små fordybninger, der giver et rustikt
udtryk. Stenen vil naturligt have flotte nuancer
i farverne. To travertinfliser er aldrig ens. Det
anbefales at opbevare travertin indendørs i
vintersæsonen for at undgå frostsprængninger.
Fliserne er imprægneret ved levering, men det
anbefales at tørre pladen af straks, hvis der eks.
spildes rødvin.
STAINLESS STEEL – RUSTFRIT STÅL:
Rustfrit stål er et meget vejrbestandigt
materiale. Anløbninger i form af flyverust kan
dog forekomme. Dette kan poleres væk med et
plejemiddel til rustfrit stål. Jævnlig rengøring
med sæbevand kan være med til at beskytte
overfladen på det rustfrie stål og dermed
minimere påvirkningen fra klor mv. Yderligere
anbefales det mindst to gange årligt at tørre
stellet over med syrefri olie for at minimere
anløbninger.
FIBER CONCRETE – FIBERBETON:
Fiberbeton består af cement og kvartssand
iblandet glasfiber. Denne kombination giver en
meget let plade med høj styrke og et moderne
udtryk. Da pladerne støbes og bearbejdes
individuelt, får hver plade sit eget udtryk, dvs.
at der kan forekomme spil i farvenuancerne,
og ingen plader er nøjagtig ens. Det anbefales
at dække pladen til med et egnet betræk eller
under halvtag i vinterperioden.
FURNITURE COVERS – MØBEL-COVER:
Møbel-coveret er fremstillet i et kraftig, vandtæt
og gennemfarvet polyesterstof, der beskytter
møblerne i vintersæsonen – dog ikke mod frost.
Ved at dække møblerne til i vintersæsonen
gøres forårsrengøringen lettere, og levetiden på
produkterne forlænges. Det anbefales at tjekke
efter kraftig regn/sne og få større samlinger
af vand væk, således at møbel-coveret dækker
møblerne korrekt.
For at opnå længst mulig levetid samt holde
møblerne i god stand anbefaler Cane-line at
opbevare møblerne inden døre om vinteren.

CERAMIC TILES – KERAMISKE FLISER:
Fliserne er lavet af porcelæn, der udmærker sig
ved at være et ekstremt stærkt materiale, som
tåler at stå ude året rundt. Fliserne produceres
af naturmaterialer, hvilket betyder, at der kan
være små forskelle på farvenuancerne fliserne
imellem.
CERAMIC TILES – KERAMISCHE FLIESEN:
Die Fliesen bestehen aus Porzellan, einem
äußerst strapazierfähigen Material, das zu jeder
Jahreszeit draußen stehen kann. Die Fliesen
werden aus natürlichen Materialien hergestellt, so
dass es von Fliese zu Fliese kleine Unterschiede in

STAINLESS STEEL – EDELSTAHL:
Edelstahl ist ein sehr witterungsbeständiges
Material. Es können jedoch Verunreinigungen
in Form von Flugrost auftreten. Dieser kann mit
einem Pflegemittel für Edelstahl entfernt werden.
Die regelmäßige Reinigung mit Seifenlauge kann
zum Schutz der Edelstahl-Oberfläche und somit
zu einer Minimierung der Beeinträchtigungen
durch Chlor etc. beitragen. Darüber hinaus
empfiehlt es sich, das Gestell mindestens zweimal
jährlich mit einem säurefreien Öl abzuwischen,
um Flugrost vorzubeugen.
FIBER CONCRETE – FASERBETON:
Faserbeton besteht aus Zement und Quarzsand,
dem Glasfasern beigemischt sind. Aus dieser
Kombination ergibt sich ein sehr leichtes Material
mit hoher Festigkeit und moderner Optik. Da die
Tischplatten einzeln gegossen und individuell
bearbeitet werden, können die Farben in Nuancen
voneinander abweichen, d. h. jede Platte ist ein
Unikat. Es empfiehlt sich, die Tischplatte im Winter mit einer geeigneten Schutzhülle abzudecken
oder unter ein Vordach zu stellen.
FURNITURE COVER – MÖBELSCHUTZHÜLLE:
Die Schutzhülle ist aus einem robusten, wasserdichten und durchgefärbten Acrylstoff hergestellt,
der die Möbel in der Wintersaison schützt – jedoch
nicht gegen Frost. Das Abdecken der Gartenmöbel
über den Winter erleichtert die Reinigung im
Frühjahr und verlängert die Lebensdauer der
Möbel. Es empfiehlt sich, den Sitz der Schutzhülle
nach kräftigen Regen- oder Schneefällen zu
überprüfen und größere Wasseransammlungen
zu beseitigen, damit die Möbel stets vor der
Witterung gut geschützt sind.
Zur Gewährleistung einer möglichst langen Lebensdauer und um die Möbel in gutem Zustand zu
halten, empfiehlt Cane-line, die Möbel im Winter
drinnen aufzubewahren.

WEAVE – FIBRE
Les meubles tressés de cette collection sont
fabriqués à la main avec la fibre Cane-Line. Cette
fibre unique ne requiert aucun entretien. Il suffit
de nettoyer les meubles à l’aide d’un détergent
ordinaire.
GLASS – VERRE:
Les plateaux en verre (verre trempé de 8mm)
peuvent être utilisés sur les plateaux tissés. Pour
la table SHARE, on optera pour du verre trempé
dépoli noir ou blanc.
TEAK – TECK:
Les plateaux en teck ne sont pas traités à la
livraison et se patinent avec le temps. Si vous
souhaitez traiter les plateaux en teck, nous vous
recommandons de les enduire d’huile pour teck,
sachant que, dans ce cas, le bois s’assombrit!
SLATE – ARDOISE:
Les plaques d’ardoise sont faites demosaïques
de schiste. Avant la première utilisation, imprégner la plaque avec unproduit qui la protège
dessalissures et des intempéries. Ne supportant
pas le gel, la plaque doit être rentrée en hiver.
GRANITE – GRANIT:
Le granit naturel de ce plateau est poli, ce qui
le donne une apparence luisante et lisse. De
légères aspérités, fentes de retrait, et différences
de couleurs peuvent apparaître à la surface.
C’est un phénomène qui n’a rien d’anormal.
TRAVERINE – TRAVERTIN:
Le travertin est une pierre calcaire qui présente
de petites cavités naturelles, auxquelles elle doit
son expression rustique. La pierre présente de
superbes nuances. Toutes les dalles en travertin
ne sont jamais parfaitement identiques. Afin
d’éviter les gélivures, il est recommandé de
conserver le travertin à l’intérieur durant l’hiver.
Les dalles sont imprégnées à la livraison, mais
il est recommandé de les essuyer sans tarder si
vous renversez du vin rouge, par exemple.
CERAMIC TILES – DALLES CÈRAMIQUES:
Les dalles sont fabriquées en porcelaine, un
matériau qui se caractérise par son énorme
robustesse et sa possibilité d’être utilisé à
l’extérieur pendant toute l’année. Les dalles étant
produites à partir de matériaux naturels, les
nuances peuvent varier d’une dalle à l’autre.
STAINLESS STEEL – ACIER INOXYDABLE:
L’acier inoxydable est un matériau très résistant
aux intempéries. Néanmoins, des ternissures
peuvent apparaître sous forme de piqûres de
rouille. Celles-ci peuvent être polies à l’aide d’un
produit d’entretien pour acier inoxydable. Le
nettoyage régulier à l’eau savonneuse permet
de protéger la surface de l’acier contre les
agressions de certains produits comme le chlore.
Il est également conseillé de nettoyer la structure
avec de l’huile sans acide afin de réduire le risque
d’oxydation.
FIBER CONCRETE – FIBROCIMENT:
Le fibrociment se compose de ciment et de sable
quartzeux, mélangés à de la fibre de verre. Ce
mélange permet d’obtenir un plateau de table
très léger et robuste, d’esthétique moderne. Les
plateaux étant coulés et travaillés individuellement,
chacun d’entre eux présente une expression qui
lui est propre. Autrement dit, les nuances peuvent
varier d’un plateau de table à l’autre, et tous les
plateaux ne sont jamais parfaitement identiques. Il
est recommandé de couvrir le plateau de la table à
l’aide d’une housse appropriée ou de l’abriter sous
un appentis pendant l’hiver.
FURNITURE COVERS – HOUSSE DE PROTECTION:
Les housses sont fabriquées dans un textile
acrylique robuste, imperméable et teint, qui
protège les meubles durant l’hiver (pas contre le
gel). L’utilisation de housses facilite le nettoyage
des meubles au printemps et prolonge leur durée
de vie. Il est recommandé de contrôler les housses
après de fortes averses ou chutes de neige et
d’éliminer l’eau accumulée sur les housses afin
de protéger correctement les meubles.
Afin de conserver vos meubles en bon état et
de leur garantir une durée de vie maximale,
Cane-line vous recommande de les rentrer
pendant l’hiver.

WEAVE – TESSITURA:
Tutti i mobili a intrecciatura della Collezione sono
fatti a mano esclusivamente con fibre Cane-line. La
fibra non necessita di manutenzione e si consiglia di
pulire i prodotti con normali detersivi commerciali.
GLASS – VETRO:
E’ possibile appoggiare i ripiani in vetro temperato
– vetro temperato di 8mm – sui ripiani intrecciati.
Per i tavoli SHARE in vetro temperato di 8 mm si può
scegliere fra un colore opaco nero oppure bianco.
TEAK – TEK:
I ripiani in tek vengono forniti senza alcun trattamento, e col tempo potranno mostrare una patina. Se si
desidera trattare i ripiani di tek, si consiglia di trattarli con olio specifico per il tek – il legno acquisterà
così una tonalità più scura!
SLATE – ARDESIA:
Le lastre d’ardesia sono composte da mosaici di
ardesia naturale. Prima di usare la lastra occorre
trattarla con un impregnante al fine di rendere
la lastra più resistente alla sporcizia e agli agenti
atmosferici. La lastra d’ardesia non sopporta il gelo e
va quindi conservata al coperto durante l’inverno.
GRANITE – GRANITO:
Il granito è una pietra naturale levigata, con
un look lucido e liscio. Può presentare piccole
incavature e lesioni dovute a variazioni della
temperatura oltre a semplici sfumature di colore
nella superficie levigata. Il granito richiede una
manutenzione minima; si raccomanda tuttavia
di trattare almeno una volta all’anno la superficie
mediante impregnazione.
TRAVERTINE – TRAVERTINO:
Il travertino è una pietra calcarea connotata in
natura da piccole incavature che conferiscono al
ripiano un aspetto rustico. La pietra presenta in
natura bellissime sfumature di colore. Due piani di
travertino non sono mai uguali. Durante la stagione
invernale si consiglia di conservare all’interno i piani
in travertino al fine di evitare fratture causate dal
gelo. Al momento della consegnai piani vengono
forniti già impregnati, ma si consiglia di asciugare
subito il piano in caso, per esempio, di versamento
di vino rosso.
CERAMIC TILES – PIANI IN CERAMICA:
I piani sono realizzati in porcellana. I piani si
distinguono per il materiale altamente resistente
e possono rimanere all’aria aperta durante tutto

proteggere la superficie dell’acciaio inossidabile
riducendo quindi al minimo l’effetto del cloro ecc.
Al fine di ridurre al minimo alterazioni sul telaio
si consiglia di trattare il telaio almeno 2 volte
all’anno con olio privo di acidi.
FIBER CONCRETE – CEMENTO DE FIBRA:
Il cemento di fibra è composto da cemento e
sabbia di quarzo mescolata a fibra di vetro.
Questa combinazione conferisce al piano del
tavolo grande leggerezza, alta resistenza e
look moderno. Poiché i piani vengono formati e
lavorati singolarmente ciascun piano assume un
proprio look individuale. Possono così verificarsi
differenti giochi nelle sfumature di colore e
nessun piano è uguale all’altro. Durante il periodo
invernale si consiglia di proteggere il piano con
una copertura oppure collocarlo sotto un riparo
fisso (tetto, pensilina, ecc.).
FURNITURE COVERS – COPERTURA PER MOBILI
DA GIARDINO:
La copertura per mobili è realizzata in robusto
tessuto acrilico tinto e resistente all’acqua; protegge
i mobili durante la stagione invernale – ma non
contro il gelo. Ricoprire i mobili durante la stagione
invernale renderà più facile la pulizia di primavera
e allungherà la durata dei prodotti. In caso di forti
pioggia/neve si consiglia di controllare la copertura
ed eliminare eventuali accumuli di acqua in modo
che la copertura protegga opportunamente i mobili.
Al fine di ottenere una durata più lunga possibile
e conservare in stato ottimale i mobili Cane-line si
raccomanda di tenere all’interno i mobili durante
l’inverno.

tableros de teca, recomendamos que utilice aceite
de teca, lo que da a la madera un matiz más oscuro.
SLATE – PIZARRA:
Las placas de pizarra consisten en mosaicos de
pizarra natural. Antes de su utilización, la placa
de pizarra debe someterse a un tratamiento con
un agente de impregnación lo que hace la placa
más resistente a la suciedad y a la intemperie. No
aguanta heladas y, por ello, debe guardarse bajo
techo en invierno.
El tablero de granito es de piedra natural pulida
con una superficie brillante y lisa. Puede ocurrir
que se produzcan pequeñas cavidades/fisuras de
retracción y diferencias de color en la superficie
pulida. El granito requiere un mínimo de mantenimiento, pero se recomienda sellar la superficie
con impregnación una vez al año como mínimo.
El travertino es una roca calcárea y en la naturaleza
está dotado de unas pequeñas cavidades que le dan
su aspecto rústico. Lógicamente, la roca tendrá
unos bellos matices de color. Dos baldosas de
travertino nunca serán idénticas. Se recomienda
guardar el travertino bajo techo en invierno para
evitar descalzamientos por heladas. Las baldosas
están impregnadas al despacharse, pero se
recomienda secar la placa enseguida en caso
de manchar con vino tinto.
CERAMIC TILES – BALDOSAS CERÁMICAS:
Las baldosas están hechas de porcelana que
se caracteriza por ser un material de extrema
resistencia y aguantar la intemperie todo el año.
Las baldosas se fabrican de materiales naturales, lo
que hace que pueda haber pequeñas diferencias en
los matices de color de una baldosa a la otra.
STAINLESS STEEL – ACERO INOXIDABLE:
El acero inoxidable es un material resistente a la
intemperie. Puede sufrir ataques atmosféricos
en forma de corrosión volátil, que se quita con un
lustre para acero inoxidable. Una limpieza periódica
con agua jabonosa puede ayudar a proteger la
superficie del acero inoxidable y, por ello, reducir
a un mínimo el efecto del cloro, etc. Además, se
recomienda pasar un paño con aceite sin ácido por
el bastidor un mínimo de dos veces al año para
prevenir empañados.
FIBER CONCRETE – HORMIGÓN CON FIBRA DE
VIDRIO:
El hormigón con fibra consiste en cemento y
arena cuarzosa mezclada con fibra de vidrio. Esta
combinación proporciona una placa ligera con alta
resistencia y una expresión moderna. Ya que las
placas se funden y se elaboran individualmente,
cada una de ellas tiene su propio aspecto, es decir,
puede haber diferentes juegos de color y las placas
no son idénticas. Se recomienda tapar la placa con
una funda apropiada o colocarla bajo techo durante
el invierno.
FURNITURE COVERS – TELA PARA TAPIZAR
MUEBLES:
La tela está manufacturada de un tejido acrílico
fuerte, impermeable y teñido en rama, que
protege los muebles en invierno pero no contra
heladas. Si los muebles se cubren en invierno,
será más fácil la limpieza en primavera y la vida
útil de los productos se alarga. Se recomienda
revisar después de lluvias y nevadas fuertes para
evitar la acumulación de agua y para que la funda
siempre cubra bien los muebles.
Para obtener la mayor vida útil posible y conservar el buen estado de los muebles, Cane-line
recomienda guardar los muebles bajo techo
durante el invierno.

Cane-line strives to supply sustainable and
comfortable quality furniture manufactured
with respect for the environment and social
accountability.
We attempt to improve our efforts on behalf
of the environment on an ongoing basis and
take responsibility for the people who create
our furniture. We aim to minimize the
consumption of resources and prevent
pollution in our supply chain.
Cane-line does not accept child labour,
respect human rights and complies with the
SA8000 standard for social accountability,
and we demand the same commitment from
our suppliers.
We focus on design and comfort and also
take the environment into account when we
choose our raw materials and develop new
production methods and products.
Cane-line complies with environmental
and labour legislation and demand that our
suppliers comply with their legislations
within these areas.
Our certifications
Products from Cane-line are developed and marketed in accordance
with our management system for environment and social responsibility
ISO 14001/2004 and SA8000/2008.
Certified by Bureau Veritas Certification.

Our social responsibility
We want to take responsibility not just to deliver unique and comfortable
furniture to our customers, but also to care for our workers creating the
furniture and for our common environment in the supply chain.

• Improve working conditions in the factories of our suppliers
Cane-line has just been certified to the SA8000 standard for social
accountability and the ISO 14001 standard of environment. This means
that Cane-line has implemented a management system to secure that
we comply with these standards and their demands including:
These obligations together with many others will be controlled two times
a year by an independent certification bureau. In this way the Cane-line
collection combines the unique quality of old traditional craftsmanship
by highly skilled local weavers and global ethical thinking of today.
Paper and printing ink used in producing Cane-line’s catalogue 2010 meet the criteria for the Nordic Eco label.
