Dream Halloween is Los Angeles’ premier Halloween event for families. Over 1,500 guests and
corporate sponsors are treated to an incredible experience full of treats and surprises in support of
life-saving programs and services in Africa and India. Tickets are also provided to children, who are
affected by HIV in the greater Los Angeles area.
Set in the historic Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport, the event transforms this epic space
into a dream-come-true Halloween wonderland.
Keep a Child Alive is thrilled to continue the legacy of Dream Halloween, created by the Children
Affected by AIDS Foundation in 1994. All funds raised will help support the children and families we
serve in India, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa and Uganda.

Our Work
Keep a Child Alive provides free HIV
care and treatment, critically needed
nutritional support, on the ground
social services, and far reaching care
for orphans, vulnerable children,
young people and families.
Over the past 10 years, Keep a Child
Alive has served over 300,000 people
and continues to keep communities
together. Keep a Child Alive currently
funds seven grassroots organizations
in five countries in Kenya, Rwanda,
South Africa, Uganda, and India.

Young people are at the center
of the hiv epidemic.
The Cause
Over 34 million people are living with
HIV worldwide.
With treatment, people living with HIV
can live long and healthy lives. Yet, only
half of adults, and 28% of children in need
of HIV treatment are getting it.
Everyday, 2,500 young people are infected
with HIV. And, in Sub-Saharan Africa,
women aged 15-24 are 8 times more likely
to be living with HIV than young men.

The Barker Hangar
The Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport is home to some of the most exclusive events in Southern
California. This 35,000+ square foot former airport hangar is transformed into a Halloween wonderland
where the imaginations of both children and adults can run wild.
The Experience
Children enjoy Trick-or-Treat Lane, where they are gifted toys donated by our sponsors. Additional
highlights include live performances, celebrity guests, a VIP Lounge and fabulous food. Face painting is
provided by MAC Cosmetics and there are an abundance of activities to choose from, including a petting
zoo, rock climbing wall, 3D Labyrinth, photo ops with costume characters, arts and crafts, and much more!
