Alton Towers 2016
Timetable
I have provided a timetable for the trip to Alton Towers. If pupils can arrive at Craigmount at 6:30am on
Tuesday 17th May to allow a prompt departure. Please note that there may be other trips leaving at a similar
time so pupils should register with an appropriate member of staff before entering the bus. If parking, please
leave enough space for the bus to manoeuvre.
We aim to arrive back at 11:30pm on Thursday 18th May. If there are any changes to the arrival time
parents/carers will be contacted by phone.

Additional contact details will be left in school. Please contact the school office who can contact members of
staff on the trip. There are pay phones available in the hotel if pupils wish to phone home during the trip.
Medication
Please ensure that your child has the correct medication with them. If there are any recent changes, please
let a member of staff know.

Appropriate clothing for 3 days. As we will still be in Britain rain jackets should be brought. Sun
screen may also be necessary.
The hotel will supply towels.
The bus has a DVD player. If pupils wish to bring a DVD all films must be 12A or lower. Pupils can
bring their own MP3 players, personal DVD players however staff can take no responsibility for
any losses or damages.
All dinners and breakfasts will be provided.
Pupils should bring a packed lunch/money for lunches. All the theme parks have café’s etc.
Pupils may wish to bring a small amount of cash to buy souvenirs, ride photos, snacks etc. Please
note that all pupils will be responsible for their own money.
Cameras may also be brought to record their trip.
