Congratulations to all our students who have devoted themselves to their sport. We are proud to have you represent our schools and our community. Dedication, effort and above all, true sportsmanship, will mark your days as players. Enjoy playing for the sake of the game, and make the memories that will last a lifetime. Tradition. Excellence. Pride. Have a great season! Pat Tutwiler Wayland High School Principal Weston is proud of our girls who are playing hockey this winter. Keeping active, meeting new friends, and competing in a sportsmanlike setting are hallmarks of a happy successful athletic life. We are very pleased our girls have the opportunity to learn, to compete, and to excel with their Wayland teammates. Our partnership with the Wayland Hockey Association enables more girls to play ice hockey. Thank you to the families and businesses that support the Wayland Hockey Association. Go Wayland/Weston Girl Hockey Players! Enjoy your season! Anthony Parker Weston High School Princpal Athletic Directors’ Message Dear Hockey Families, We are thrilled to have so many student-athletes taking to the ice this winter, representing our schools. Among the goals of an Athletic Director, one of the foremost is putting more students into more sports. We want to give young people the opportunity to challenge themselves and compete. But we don’t do this alone. Nowhere is the partnership with families more evident than with ice hockey. Skating families demonstrate their passion for this great sport all the time — at early morning practices, on long car trips, through endless fund-raising. We salute your infectious enthusiasm. Best of luck to all our talented boys and girls. Have a fantastic season! Justice Smith Athletic Director Wayland High School Michael McGrath Athletic Director Weston High School Ad Space Still Available BUILDERS AWARD Tricon Sports Supplier to our Hockey Teams The Wayland Warriors & Wayland Hockey Association recognize Mrs. Joyce Robsham for her unwavering support of Wayland Hockey over many years. Hockey Is Growing in Our Schools! Today, more children are learning to skate and to play ice hockey than ever before. And the chances for them to play are expanding as well. Wayland Hockey affords an opportunity to have fun on ice skates at an early age, to develop fundamental hockey skills at the middle school level, and finally to flourish in the sport in a competitive high school environment. We’re excited to be putting more student athletes, both boys and girls, on the ice every year — and in their school jersey! Thank you for helping us do this.
