Hi Jane,
How are you? I’m fine. You know I now live in a small town. It’s a fantastic place. There’s
an old castle, a big swimming pool and a beautiful park, and all these places are near my
home. My school is near my home, too.
I like my school, but the days at school are very busy. I’ve got twelve school subjects,
and seven lessons every day! My favourite subject is IT. I’ve got it on Monday, Tuesday
and Wednesday. I like music, too, but it’s only on Friday. And I’ve got maths every day ...
I start school at half past eight and finish at a quarter to four. Phew!

I want to tell you about my cousin, Matt. He lives in Australia and he’s really different from me.
You know I love skiing. Well, Matt lives in Brisbane and he’s a fan of beach sports. He can surf,
windsurf and jet-ski, but he can’t do any winter sports. Matt is a fan of music like me, but he can’t
play the guitar or drums. He prefers folk music and he can play the violin very well. And one
more thing: Matt hates pizza and he doesn’t like sweets. He only eats healthy food: yogurt, fish,
salad and fruit. Well, we are so different, but we are good friends. Write me about your friend.
