The Team Kids Impact
Our mission is to strengthen community
collaborations that empower young people to be
responsible, resilient citizens with a passion for service.

parents do all the work. But now, it was only the kids
who raised all the money, so I know that we can.”

Our partners include police officers, fire
fighters, educators, business leaders, donors and
community members. Partners lend their time,
talents, and treasures to advance our common
mission: Empowering America’s Future.
Our programs help kids learn about leadership,
teamwork, compassion and making healthy
choices; for themselves and others! Students
become powerful entrepreneurs and philanthropists
who contribute to the quality of life within their
community and beyond.
Our Programs
Team Kids Challenge Program
In our Team Kids Challenge program, elementary
school children spend a month taking action to
improve community issues such as hunger,
homelessness, and the environment. 100% of all
items collected and funds raised by kids go
directly to community-based nonprofits. The
Challenge is a research-based and empiricallyvalidated approach to youth development.
Team Kids Youth Council
In our Team Kids Youth Council, young people
between the ages of 12 and 18 fill active community
leadership roles: researching social issues, creating
youth-driven service projects, taking action to
impact community issues. Projects are conducted
in partnership with a variety of Orange County
nonprofits, such as Southwest Community Center,
OC Rescue Mission, and Families Forward.
Team Kids LemonAID is a community
mobilization vehicle open to all children and
families; everyone is invited to host their own
“LemonAID” stand to benefit others in need
such as global disaster victims. LemonAID may
also occur through planned activities on MLK
day or the 4th of July.
100% of all donations are collected and
donated to other nonprofits via Team Kids
LemonAID Stands.
Team Kids LemonAID Store
The Team Kids LemonAID Store is a social
enterprise held at various community events,
and staffed by Team Kids Youth Council and
staff members. Proceeds from the LemonAID
Store directly support Team Kids programs.
