The purpose of the CSR Awards is to raise awareness of CSR and get more companies to integrate CSR in the way of creating and running a business. KN OWLED G E AND EX PER IENCE The goal of CSR Awards is to provide participants with specific tools and inspiration to begin or continue working with CSR. This is done through side-‐events, panel discussions and presentations by Danish and international speakers. T HEME The theme of CSR Awards 2014 is "Business of the Future". The theme of CSR Awards 2014 is built on four tracks that both embrace the width of the CSR efforts and enable a close-‐up focus on specific issues within each direction. The four tracks are: Global, Climate and environment, Labor market and Interdisciplinary. P ART ICIP ANTS The conference has about 800 participants from the public and private sectors, ministries, government agencies, trade associations, universities and NGOs. Representatives of the press will also be present during parts of the conference. CSR FO UND ATIO N It is -‐ together with our many partners– the CSR Foundation, which is behind CSR Awards. The CSR Foundation is a non-‐profit organization that was established in 2011 with a mission to promote sustainability and social responsibility, nationally and globally. AWAR D S HO W On the first day of the conference is the big Award Show, where the best examples within the Danish CSR landscape are celebrated. This year, the creative and innovative agency Rebel Agency has designed an innovative and engaging experience -‐ an entertaining and spectacular show that celebrates the good CSR examples. The Award Show hostess is the charismatic and humorous actress Mille Dinesen, who with her dazzling radiance and high spirits will guide the audience safely through the show. Prominent personalities, His Royal Highness Prince Joachim and several Danish Ministers will present and award the eight CSR prizes. Various inspiring CSR personalities are through the show combined with entertaining and colorful live performances. The emerging pop band Scarlet Pleasure and local artists will mesmerize the audience at the big stage in Holstebro Music Theatre. Rebel Agency has tailored a number of humorous entertainment films and animations for the show, which with a loving and ironic approach examines what CSR means for the Danes, high as low. Innovative designers and artists have created a new and fresh visual universe with graphics that provides a colorful setting for an inspiring experience. We can promise that the audience will have a memorable and inspiring evening with a great atmosphere and food for thought. And we are very excited to welcome you to the Award Show 2014!
