Today we start our journey to the

1
Today we are off to music city
Nashville, TN. We will be staying
at the spectacular Opryland Resort.
Tonight we enjoy a traditional BBQ
dinner at Nashville’s #1 dinning and
entertainment destination the Wildhorse
Saloon. No trip to Nashville would be
complete without
attending the
Grand Ole
Opry. We cap
our evening with
a preformance
that showcases a mix of country legends
and the contemporary chart-toppers who
have followed in their footsteps.
2
This morning it’s time to sit back
and enjoy the ride as we travel to
Atlanta,
GA. Our
first
stop
following lunch
will be an Inside
CNN Studio
Tour where we will get a first hand look
at how the news is gathered, written and
reported. Next we are joined by a guide
who will give us a tour of Georgia’s
history, Atlanta’s history in the Civil
War, the Civil Rights
Movement and the
Centennial Olympic
Games of 1996. We
end our evening with
dinner at the one
remaining original
tea room in Atlanta
Mary Mac’s Tea
Room for a family style traditional
southern dinner.
3
After breakfast we head to the
Martin Luther King Jr National
Historic Site. You will
have time to explore the
Visitor Center, the
Historic Ebenezer Baptist
Church, Dr. And Mrs.
King’s Tomb and view
the eternal flame and the
International Civil Rights
Walk of Fame. Next we are off to
Macon, GA and
the Hay House.
One of Georgia’s
most distinguished
structures, the
Johnston-FeltonHay House in
Macon was
declared a National Historic Landmark
in 1974. The house itself contains more
than 16,000 square feet in 24 principal
rooms. After lunch on your own we are
off to Savannah, GA the first planned
city in the United States where you will
have free time to explore the southern
charm and hospitality the city has to
offer.

best restaurants in Savannah, which is
housed in a renovated historic1852

Today we stop in the old port town of
Beaufort, SC, about as Southern as
it gets. It’s tucked off the beaten path
on the banks of the
Intra-Coastal
Waterway. Enjoy a
horse and carriage
ride through this town
of historic antebellum
homes and narrow
oak-lined streets. In
addition enjoy
shopping at the art galleries, antique shops
and modern boutiques that dot the entire
downtown and uptown walking districts.
After lunch on your own we travel to
Charleston, SC where we will be joined
by a guide who will take us on a tour of
picturesque and exquisitely preserved
Charleston. The city is a visual feast of
antebellum architecture, cobblestone

own) we will take
a narrated cruise to
visit Fort Sumter
the site of the first
shots fired in the
American Civil

country’s biography.

home we make a few more stops on

only tea plantation in the United States.
The Charleston Tea Plantation is the
home of American Classic Tea, tea grown
in America. It is located on picturesque
Wadmalaw Island
in the heart of
South Carolina's
Lowcountry. Its
grounds include
127 acres of
Camellia Sinensis
tea plants, a working Tea Factory and a
charming Plantation Gift Shoppe. We
continue our journey through Tennessee
into Kentucky where we will overnight in
Richmond, KY. And who knows we may
surprise you with a unique stop or two
along the way.
8
We continue towards home through
Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois and into
Wisconsin. We will over night in
Beloit, WI. Tonight you will have time
for one last dinner together (on your own)
to reminisce about the memories created
on your trip.

Following breakfast we start
the final leg of tour, making
stops for your comfort along
the way. As we make our way home, the
memories of our time spent together
warm our hearts and will remain with us
