Sabre products utilize the superior materials, quality control and

Every weapon we build is constructed to this same exacting standard. Pick up

machine shops. It cuts costs, but their tolerances have to be looser in order
to make sure everything fits together.

Grendel 6.5mm
The AR15 / M4 platform has long been admired for its reliability and
nimble handling. Its rock solid performance in conflicts around the
world has proven time and again that this is, in many ways, an ideal
weapon. However, many shooters have voiced a desire for a way to
give this system better long-range performance and more stopping
power than the traditional and trustworthy 5.56mm chambering.
Now, Sabre Defence Industries, LLC brings you the answer: the
Grendel 6.5mm. The Grendel is a flat-shooting round designed to
give AR15 and M4 style rifles added long-distance performance.
Imagine being able to shoot sub-MOA groups at 600 meters with
your AR. This level of accuracy is standard for the Grendel 6.5mm.
These rifles are not just limited to long-distance shooting either.
The perceived recoil on the Grendel is light and straight back,
making follow up shots much faster and easier. This ease of use,
combined with ballistic performance that rivals the 7.62mm NATO
round (at around 2/3 the weight), make it an excellent hunting or
home defense round as well.
Sabre Defence Industries, LLC presents a complete line of rifles
chambered for the Grendel 6.5mm round. Each weapon is crafted
with the precision and excellence you have come to expect from
Sabre. Best of all, since the Grendel magazines share the same
exterior dimensions as 5.56mm magazines, you can shoot both
rounds from a single rifle. Simply switch out the upper and the
magazine, and you are ready to go.
This round isn’t a compromise. It is designed from the ground up to
provide a single cartridge that can produce superior performance at
ranges from one to one thousand meters. It’s pretty obvious, if you

About Sabre
You may not recognize the name Sabre Defence right away, but we are
very well known to fighting forces all over the world. The reason is
simple: the U.S. Military is our biggest client. If you see a U.S. Army
M2 Browning .50 machine gun or a U.S. Air Force M134 7.62mm
Minigun it’s a sure bet that it is using a Sabre Defence 3 piece, Stellite
lined barrel.
We are dedicated to providing the equipment our soldiers need to ensure
their safety and security. Our products are heavily deployed in the Global
War on Terror in both Iraq and Afghanistan. They save the lives of our
troops every day.
With this much at stake, we know our weapons and parts must be reliable.
We take every possible measure to ensure the highest levels of quality.
Our factory is ISO 9001 registered. Our engineers are highly dedicated
and experienced. We utilize the latest CNC turning and machining
technology. From basic milling and turning to deep-hole drilling and
both cut and button rifling, we can do it all. Our products are built to
the tightest tolerances and highest standards in the industry. They have
to be so that our soldiers can return home safely.
We apply this same level of quality and dedication to every product we
make. When you purchase a Sabre XR15, you will receive a rifle built to
the same quality standards and specifications demanded by our soldiers
in the field. We custom mill most of our rifle parts as well as the barrel
in order to produce superior fit, finish and performance.
Even the metal in our barrels is head and shoulders above that of other
rifles. We use the same Chrome Moly-Vanadium Alloy that goes into our
.50 calibre barrels. This may be overkill for a rifle, but it will last longer,
wear better and remain accurate long after an average barrel is reduced
to scrap metal. If that isn’t enough, you can also get Sabre barrels made
out of 410 Stainless Steel, an even tougher and harder alloy. Other
manufacturers don’t build weapons for the military and as a result, they
don’t have the access to the superior metals we use.
Additionally, all of our barrels have been heat treated to relieve barrel
stress. Other manufacturers don’t go this extra mile, and their improperly
treated barrels can change shape as heat builds up during sustained fire.
Although these changes may not be easy to detect visually, they can
significantly affect accuracy. Our barrels don’t have this problem. By
pre-treating them, we release that stress ahead of time, allowing you to
shoot as much as needed without having to worry about your point of
impact drifting.
