you. Please minister (or serve)
with passion for the kingdom and
compassion towards people. This
will ensure effectiveness in ministering the Jesus way. Ministering
topics. Also, I plead with you to
honor and appreciate all those who
are ministering and laboring among
you at Mt Traveler, especially the
leaders and/or coordinators of our
the Jesus way is the new wave God
has sent our way to ride and enjoy
because it produces a healthy
church that would continue to
grow. Therefore, members of Mt
Traveler and friends must endeavor
to be faithful disciples and followers of Jesus Christ to ride this wave
successful. Be regular at our morning worship experience to fully ride
this wave of ministering the Jesus
way as we discuss various sub-
various ministries. You can send
them letters, cards, or tokens of
appreciation and I am suggesting
that we recognize those ministering
as coordinators of the various ministries during the last Sunday
Morning worship of October 2007.
On October 18, 2007, the Ministers
in Lee County of Alabama were
honored with a dinner at Greater
Peace Missionary Baptist Church,
Opelika, Alabama.

FROM THE
PASTOR’S
DESK
Beloved Church Family:
October is ministers’ appreciation month in the United
States of America. It is amazing
how God has been tailoring our
sermon series. Our present series is
on MINISTERING THE JESUS
WAY. I beseech you to use your
giftedness to minister according to
the SHAPEs (Spiritual Gifts,
Hearts, Abilities, Personalities, and
Experiences) God has bestowed on
Page 1
The Music workshop facilitated by Dr. Reginald Jackson,
who did a wonderful job last year
as well as this year (from October
18-20, 2007), will culminate with
the Choir Anniversary this afternoon, October 21, 2007 at 2:00
PM. Pray and plan to come back
and enjoy the hard work that has
been put into this Music workshop.
A foretaste of what it will be like
this afternoon would be experience
during the morning worship today.
Because of the Music Workshop,
the Mt Traveler Leadership meeting has been moved to Friday, October 26, 2007.
Plans for the 2nd Nutrition
and Health Workshop at Mt traveler Baptist Church, Waverly, Alabama have been completed and the
Workshop is scheduled for November 10, 2007 at 10:00 AM
prompt. Pray for it success and for
you to be present. We have a great
panel, whose membership is coming from various works of life and
it includes: Allison Lance – Health

and looking forward to coming.
Immediately following the
2nd Nutrition and Health Workshop,
the Mt Traveler Church family will
hold its 2007 Annual Church meeting. This is the more reason why
Saturday, November 10 2007
should be an important date on
your calendar. Furthermore, continue to pray for our 127th Mt Traveler Church Anniversary to be held
on November 17, 2007 with Dr.
Clarence M, Richardson, Pastor
and the Nazareth Baptist Church,
Opelika as our Guests. Please bear
in mind that the Ebenezer District
Association meeting will hold on
October 24-25, 2007 at the District
Center. All members of Mt Traveler are encouraged to attend.
Finally continue to pray
for one another that we shall continue to grow stronger as a Church
typified by genuine love with passion for the kingdom of God and
compassion towards people as Mt
Traveler rides the wave of ministering the Jesus way. Pray for me to
have good health and especially for
God to continue to lead me in His
paths so that I can be a good shepherd. I love you and I am praying
for you. Remain blessed.

God’s ways are always
perfect and following
them ultimately leads
to success. By studying
the Scripture and applying its principles,
we can learn to identify the Lord’s plan for
our lives.
God has given each of
us gifts and talents and
we must discover and
use them to bring glory
and praise to the Lord
and not to ourselves.
Though we may discover and utilize our
gifts and talents in various ways, our motivation should always
with no exceptions to
honor holy God.
