Botanic Gardens
In a 5 hectare setting The Jardin des Plantes des Capellans invites you to enjoy all its charms :
shaded pathways, sunny meadows, lake and cascades of flowers.
It also invites you to discover the numerous tree species that make this a real
botanical garden.
Come and admire trees that are more than one hundred years old such as the Jubaea Chilensis
(Chilean wine palm), the very large Ligustrum japonicum (Japanese Privet) and many
species of palm trees, bamboos, camellias and aquatic plants.
There are 2.5 kms of walkways for you to use, on foot, by bicycle or on skates, there is also a training
circuit in the heart of the park.
A children’s playground, a multi-sports enclosed area, three ponds, an ornithological zone, a picnic area
and a refreshments kiosk complete the facilities of the park.
