Courts (Tonga) Limited is 50% joint venture with Pacific Retail Limited, with 2 Store outlets in Nukualofa
in the Kingdom of Tonga. Courts (Tonga) Limited is a High Street retailer of Electrical, Furniture,
Audio-Visual, Floor Covering and Home Goods. Courts (Tonga) Limited also has a dedicated outlet
carrying a range of sporting goods and gym equipment including the Puma range of footwear and
clothing, setup in collaboration with Sportsworld Fiji.

Vision Motors Limited
Vision Motors Limited is a Tier 1 motor business engaged in the automotive and light industrial
sectors. The portfolio of world renowned motor vehicle franchises include heavy commercial trucks,
light commercial trucks, commercial vans, pick – ups, sedans and forklifts. Ancillary merchandise
include range of automotive and industrial lubricants and automotive tyres. The industrial division

comprises of a new restaurant and pool complex, conference centre and further 89 keys with a

Overview
Courts (Fiji) Limited (“Courts”) is the dominant market leader and retailer of Electrical, Furniture,
Computers, Electronics, Phones, Audio-Visual, Sporting, Floor Coverings and other Homeware goods.
Courts have dominated the market particularly in electrical appliances and furniture for several decades.
Courts have an extensive Store network in all major cities and towns in Fiji and the market share is
estimated at around 70%. Courts is also the largest provider of consumer finance outside of the
regulated financial institutions currently with a live Customer base of over 75,000 Customers. The
in-house financing gives Courts a significant competitive advantage in the market. Currently Courts
employs over 700 employees.
History of Courts
The Origins of Courts go back to Courts PLC a company incorporated in the UK which was a specialist
retailer of electrical and home furnishing goods operating in countries in the Caribbean, South EastAsia, Pacific and Indian Ocean Countries. Courts PLC has since been dissolved.
Courts commenced operations in Fiji 1971. Courts was the first company in Fiji to introduce easy
payment schemes which enabled a countless number of families in Fiji to buy basic durable household
goods to improve their life styles and living standards.

The range includes bedding, mattresses, dining sets, bedroom suits, lounges, recliners, kitchen cabinets

Courts offer a full range of floor covering solutions to the domestic
and commercial customers from wall to wall broadloom carpeting,
throw down rugs, carpet tiles and vinyl tiles and planks. Carpets
International has a speciality shop in Kura Street Laucala Beach Suva,

Courts Credit
Courts Credit offers a number of consumer credit facilities to suit the financing needs of the Customers.
Broadly the financing facilities include trade credit up to 90 days on interest free terms to Platinum Card
Holders, Lay by up to 6 months repayment period and various Hire Purchase options with repayment
periods extending up to 48 months. Special trade credit facilities are offered to Corporate Customers.
Customers can finance their purchases by subscribing to these various credit options on offer.
Platinum Cards and Privileged Cards are issued with pre-approved “Ready Finance” credit limits for
the convenience of the Customers and to fast track credit approvals and purchases.
The Hire Purchase options include add-on’s such as credit insurance and warranties, which provide
further comfort and protection to Customers.
Courts has one of the largest Customer Data Bases in the country currently with over 75,000 live time
accounts and a historical base of over $100,000+ Customers, which is a valuable platform to introduce
new products and to grow sales and market share.
The business of in-house consumer financing offers an unparallel competitive advantage to Courts in
the market to leverage sales and market share of the various brands represented.
Courts Service
Courts Service operate full equiped and resourced after sales and repair facilities to provide after sales
support to a full range of electrical, computers, phones, recreational and furniture goods. Courts
Service, operates three separate facilities in key locations throughout the country and employs expatriate
technicians to provide the highest standards of after sales support. Courts Service also provides its
repair and after sales services to walk-in Customers and to other commercial enterprises and offer
preventative maintenance contracts to Customers. Courts Service offers security and unparallel peace
of mind to Customers purchasing merchandise from Courts.
The Hotel Division in Courts Service based in Namaka Nadi, offers 24/7 installation and repair services
on a range of equipment, appliances and general refrigeration to the hotel and restaurant sectors.
Courts Service offers after sales and repair services for most categories of merchandise and is the
accredited After Sales Service provider for world renowned brands such as LG, Bose, Sthil, Acer,

The Best Buys for Business is a separate dedicated team offering personalised services to the
commercial sector offering a range of merchandise from video, audio, electrical appliances, furniture,
floor coverings, computers, sports and recreational equipment and many more. Preferential pricing is
offered on a negotiated and case by case basis. An efficient sourcing service is also provided using the
global network of agents especially from China and South East Asia.
A separate showroom in the Namaka Mega store showcases a range of products, specifically suited for
the hotel and restaurant sector.
Exports
Courts exports a range of local and imported merchandise to several countries in the South Pacific
Region. Courts through bulk purchasing from suppliers around the world, are able to offer the benefit
of this bulk preferential pricing to export Customers without imposing restrictive minimum order
quantities.
Supershield
Courts offers on select electrical, furniture and computer items, “Courts Supashield” extended warranty
over and above the warranty provided by the manufacturers. These extended warranties provided to
Customers at a modest fee, provides security and peace of mind to Customers to have the products
repaired or replaced during the period of the extended warranty.
Courts Customer Care
Courts is the only retailer in Fiji with a customer care centre fully manned by trained personnel to field

Sportsworld is a renowned sporting goods store in Fiji and is the agent and distributor for several world
famous sporting goods brands. The merchandise includes sports shoes and clothing, various sporting
gear, gym equipment and golfing gear. The retail store network comprise of 4 outlets in Suva and Lautoka.
A select range of Sportsworld merchandise is also marketed and sold through Courts (Fiji) Limited retail
stores located throughout the country.
Sportsworld is the agent for PUMA and Asics brands of merchandise including sporting shoes, clothing
and bags. The PUMA merchandise is distributed through a network of retailers located throughout the
country.
Sportworld also exports merchandise to several countries in the South Pacific Region and collaborated
to setup a sporting goods store in the Kingdom of Tonga.

In May 2010 the Vision Group Limited as part of it’s strategic plan to expand into the South Pacific
region, entered into a 50% joint venture with Pacific Retail Limited of Tonga to open up a spacious
Courts Store in Nukualofa, Tonga. This Store operates as a replica model of the Fiji Courts business.
Courts Tonga offers lay-by facilities with repayments extended upto 6 months for the convenience of
Customers.
A second Sportsworld Store was opened in Nukualofa CBD in January 2012, specialling in sporting,
leisure and gym equipment. This store represents numerous leading world brands including the Puma
range of footwear and bags. The store was setup in collaboration with Sportsworld in Fiji.

In October 2011 and March 2014 the Vision Group acquired 100% of Fiji Beach Resort and Spa. Fiji
Beach Resort and Spa is a premier tourist resort located on Denarau Island with 1.5 kilometres of
uninterrupted ocean frontage along the entire length of the resort complex. This is an unique feature
amongst the resorts at the premier Denarau destination. The resort currently comprise 279 keys (340
rooms) and is managed by Hilton International LLC.
The resort offers a range of accommodation from penthouses, 3 bedroom beach front villas to studio
apartments. The resort also offers a selection of restaurants serving different cuisines and a number of
adults only and recreational pools for the enjoyment of the guests.
Work is ongoing to complete Stage 2B of the development, which comprise a conference centre,
restaurant and pool complex and 83 keys (115 rooms). Plans are also on foot to further expand facilities
such as a new reception and lobby, expanded spa and gym over the next few years in line with the
original master plans for the resort.

DHOBY’S LIMITED
Dhoby’s Limited acquired a commercial laundry in February 2012 and after extensive refurbishment,
commenced full scale operations in November 2012. The commercial laundry operates under the
trading name “Dhoby’s”. The laundry is located in Martintar Nadi and is fully set up with commercial

Eco Solutions (Pacific) Limited commenced business in July 2012 and is a cleaning, sanitation and
hygiene business offering integrated and turnkey solutions to commercial laundries, hotels, restaurants,
food processors, agricultural sector, dairy and poultry farming sector and other institutional sectors.
Eco Solutions have partnered with Jasol NZ (A regional market leader in the supply of chemicals and
hygiene products) and other reputed suppliers in Australia and New Zealand for the supply of chemical
and cleaning products. The portfolio includes a range of specially formulated environmentally friendly
products. Eco Solutions provides servicing of boilers and cooling towers. Eco Solutions also imports and
distributes a wide range of dispensing units, janitorial products, paper products and other specialised
cleaning equipment.
Eco Solutions also provides training and advisory services as part of turnkey solutions offered to its
Customers.

Mahogany Industries (Fiji) Limited (“MIFL”) was acquired in February 2012 and is a wholly owned
subsidiary. MIFL commenced operations in October 2004 and its 2,250sq mt factory is located in the
Navutu Industrial Estate, Lautoka.
MIFL specialises in manufacturing high quality furniture, cabinetry and joinery work and is the preferred
supplier of high quality furniture to the hotel and resorts market. MIFL offer services ranging from
customized one off items through to complete large scale fit outs. The company employs highly skilled
joiners, designers and technicians.
MIFL has invested in a fully computerized Hilder Brunner drying kiln with a 50 cubic meter load capacity.
MIFL has a latest model Masterwood CNC Machine, which has increased the versatility of the product
range it can manufacture.
MIFL exports to New Zealand and Australian markets and other regional South Pacific Countries
continues to grow year on year.
MIFL primarily uses “Sweitenia Macrophylla” or Fiji Mahogany to manufacture its products. This
timber is from Fiji’s sustainable plantation forestry program. MIFL is committed to working with the Fiji
government, land owners and other private enterprise groups, to safeguard this resource and ensure
it remains for the benefit of future generations and in perpetuity.
Commencing January 2014, MIFL also manufactures and supplies a range of upholstery and hardwood
furniture to Courts (Fiji) Limited, which are retailed through the Courts Store network

Vision Motors commenced operations in December 2011 and have quickly progressed to a Tier 1
Motor Company in Fiji. Vision Motors operates out of the GM Chevrolet Showroom in Karsanji Street
Suva, which was launched in February 2014. Further showroom and service operations in Suva are
located on Grantham Road and Auto City Road. Vision Motors also offer a range of products and
services through its branch outlets Nadi and Labasa.
Motor Vehicles
Vision Motors are the authorised distributors for several world renowned vehicle franchises including
General Motors Chevrolet, Peugeot, Dong Feng trucks, Sino trucks, Maxus passenger and panel vans
and Hyundai light and heavy duty forklifts. The vehicle portfolio includes heavy commercial trucks, light
commercial trucks, commercial vans, pick – ups, sedans and forklifts.
Service and Parts
An extensive inventory of parts are carried to provide ongoing after sales service to all vehicles marketed
and distributed by Vision Motors. The service workshops are LTA accredited and offers repairs services
to all makes of vehicles, heavy vehicles and small engines. Other services offered include electronic
engine diagnosis, paint booth operations, road side assist and 24 hour breakdown service.
Industrial
The industrial division markets and distributes a range of industrial products. Vision Motors are
the authorised agents for Wellift escalators and lifts. Other industrial products include buggy carts,
generator sets, industrial pumps, insulators and a range of other industrial merchandise.
Tyres and Lubricants
Vision Motors markets and distributes several brands of quality tyres targeting a broad segment of the
user market. Tyre servicing and wheel alignment services are offered through all major outlets .
Vision Motors also distributes several brands of lubricants including Bizol, a range of high quality
lubricants by the world renowned German manufacturer.
