THE CONCEPT
Elfa® is designed so you can add to your storage requirements as your budget allows, and as your family and
storage needs increase.
THE PRINCIPLE
Elfa® is designed for simplicity: Crossbars determine width, frames determine height and depth. All crossbars and baskets are numbered and colour coded to match.
So with only basic do-it-yourself skills you can follow the simple instructions and fit out the project.
THE ELFA FRAME AND BASKET SYSTEM - RANGE AND SIZES
Elfa® standard storage System is 535mm deep and available in four different widths. The baskets can be
selected in 1,2, or 3 runners height and each system is easily recognised as follows: System 25 (250mm wide),
has a yellow label, System 35 (350mm) has a blue label, System 45 (450mm) has a green label and System 55
(550mm) by a red label.
Frames are available in 4, 7 or 10 runner height. To attach frames together to any desired height use the crossbars
with the + sign on the packaging . ( See below )
To further assist those with limited space, elfa® baskets and frames are also available in a mini system which is
435mm deep, available in three different widths: The 350mm basket is recognised by a blue striped label,
450mm by a green striped label. Please note: with the 550mm mini system use the 450mm standard basket
(green label) but you turn the basket sideways to fit inside the frame.
There are many accessories to suit your needs in the frame and basket system. ( See page 6 )
will have the answer to your many storage problems !!
Elfa® Frame Assembly
Using a plastic mallet, or a metal hammer with a
wooden block to cushion the blow:
L-connector

1. Turn the side frames upside down and drive the
bottom crossbars with T-connectors into the
bottom of each frame.
(Note: runners should face inwards)
2. Turn the unit right side up. If using basket back
stop pins, put one in each of the back holes of
the top runners.
3. Drive the top crossbars with the L-connectors
into the top of the side frames

4. Slide in the drawer baskets.

1: Place the track at
ceiling height
2: Hook the hanging
standards on the track
Place track at ceiling height.
Drill a hole for each hole in the
track. (Note: this is the only drilling
you have to do.)
Insert the hardware and tighten.
Position each Hanging Standard
at a max of 900mm intervals. Snap
the shelf brackets into the Hanging
Standards. (The brackets can
be adjusted every 32mm) Snap
the Closet Rod Holders to their
Brackets.
