The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care,
support, and research. Since 1989, the Walk has raised more than $250 million to help those battling the disease.
The Walk unites the entire community - family, friends, co-workers, social and religious groups, and more - in a display of combined strength
and dedication in the fight against this devastating disease. While there is no fee to register, each participant is expected to
fundraise in order to contribute to the cause and raise awareness.

MORE
THAN
A WALK
Register. All Walk participants must register
online, by mail, or in-person.
Make a personal gift. Donors are more likely
to make a gift if you show that you have already
done so.
Write your fundraising email/letter.
The #1 reason people do not give is because they
were not asked. Share your personal story with
friends, family, and co-workers to raise donations
and awareness.
Plan fundraisers with your Team.
Fundraising with your Team is fun! Check out the
Team fundraising ideas in your Participant Center.
Use ALZ fundraising resources. The Walk
provides you with posters, matching gift forms,
fundraising items to sell, and much more.
