Company Background
Hypercoat Enterprises was established in 1983, then as a trading division of Heli Orient (S) Pte
Ltd. The division was then involved in the distribution of aircraft paint and spares. In 1985 this
division was divested by the holding company and sold as an on-going business to the then
Marketing Director. Mr. Dinesh R Patel is
the majority shareholder and Managing
Director of the newly registered company
Hypercoat Enterprises Pte Ltd.
The Company continues the business of
distributing aircraft parts and material. Its
product range has been expanded to include:

Cargo, ground and workshop equipment.
Hypercoat’s new 2, sq ft facility in Singapore
In 1988 the Company set up Hansair Logistics in California, initially to coordinate transactions
with our vendors in the USA. Hansair gradually evolved into a full-fledged distributor, servicing
customers in USA. Jointly, Hypercoat and Hansair now represent more than 20 vendors from
USA and Europe, serving customers worldwide through sales offices in USA, Singapore,
Germany, South Africa, India, Malaysia and United Arab Emirates. From only eight employees
in 1985, Hypercoat and Hansair have now close to 140 full-time employees world-wide.
Hypercoat Enterprises Pte Ltd is approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and
certified by Bureau Veritas for ISO 9001:2008 and AS9120 Revision A.

Wide Customer Base
The airlines in the Asia Pacific region operate more than 500 Airbus of all types. An additional
100 are due for delivery within 3 years. Out of these airlines, Hypercoat/Hansair have already
been regular suppliers to:
Air India, Air Macau, All Nippon Airways, Asiana Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways, Emirates
Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, Gulf Air, Indian Airlines, Korean Airlines, Malaysia Airlines,
Philippine Airlines, Singapore Airlines, SriLankan Airlines, Thai Airways, Vietnam Airlines
Proximity to Customers
Most of Hypercoat customers in the Asia Pacific region are within the flying distance of 7 hours
from Singapore. With many scheduled airlines operating out of Singapore, we are able to
provide prompt delivery to our customers. Our customers have the choice of delivery points
from our various warehouses worldwide. The proximity to our customers also mean better
accessibility in terms of regular sales visits and interaction with our customers.
Inventory Management
With close collaboration with customers, we closely monitor and gear our inventory to suit the
needs of our customers. This is to facilitate and accommodate the “Just-In-Time” inventory
management that many of our airline customers are adopting. In the effort to reduce their
inventory cost, these airlines will increasingly relying on suppliers like Hypercoat to meet their
requirements. In this aspect, we have entered into various form of supply agreement from Annual
Purchase Contract to Consignment Stock. To date we have signed Consignment Agreements
with ST Aviation Services Company, Gulf Aircraft Maintenance Company and Jet Airways of
India. We have several annualized purchases for several products from airlines such as Singapore
Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, China Airlines and Cathay Pacific Airways
Customer and Service Driven Approach
Our organizational mission statement is very biased towards providing the best service to all our
customers. As the result of our non-compromising standard for product and service quality, we
have developed good working relationship with many of our customers. This relationship has
allowed us to gather valuable information that in turn allows us to improve our business.
Dedicated Sales and Marketing Staff
Our staff is constantly being trained and updated on matters relating the products and the market.
Each member of the sales team specializes in a product group. Armed with in-depth knowledge
our team can offer value-added service to our customers. As the team is focused and dedicated,
the interest of the vendors and manufacturers is fully represented. They become an extension of
our vendor’s sales team.
Operational Flexibility
Being a relatively small company, the absence of bureaucratic procedures common to larger
organizations allows Hypercoat to offer greater flexibility to customers in terms of pricing of
products and service level. When occasion requires, we will take extraneous effort to ensure that
our customers get the appropriate service.
Commitment to the Business
We see ourselves as partners to our vendors, sharing their values and practices. We put
maximum effort in ensuring that their products and services receive optimum exposure in the
market. We can represent manufacturers of products that have specific and niche markets, better
than larger organizations that will mainly be driven by maximizing profits and returns. To us,
size does not always matters, commitment to getting the business is.
