Every aircraft used for hire must undergo thorough inspections, maintenance and repairs on a regular basis by certified technicians. Complete a diploma program in as little as 18 months or an associate degree in 23 months prepared to get your A&P certification from the FAA. Many industries such as auto and diesel, auto and boat racing and heavy-equipment desire the high quality, detail-oriented skills possessed by certified aviation maintenance technicians.
