It's been a massive 175 years since Lyndoch was settled as a township. Colonel William Light first set foot in our beautiful area in 1837 and named it Lynedoch Vale. It was in 1840 that people began to set up their homes and form a township. The Lyndoch Historical Society and Community Committee are seeking ideas as to what events people would like to hold to celebrate this milestone. It does not mean your obligated to organise it, although of course any help is always gratefully received.
