Product Efficacy Results – Strawberries
Strawberries are a high value fruit, but are also easily perishable. Therefore, extending
the shelf‐life is highly desirable for growers, packers and supermarkets.
To test the efficacy on increasing the shelf‐life and sugar content in strawberries,
VitaSweet and VitaCal were applied to strawberries every 2‐3 weeks using standard farm
practices. The foliage was then sent for independent analysis and compared with
untreated strawberries.

In an independent test of VitaSweet and VitaCal for improvements in yield and quality
of red beet, one set of crops were sprayed with VitaSweet and VitaCal – ‘Treated’,
while another set of crops were grown using standard farm practices – ‘Untreated’.

The VitaSweet and VitaCal 'Treated' red beet resulted in higher sugar and chlorophyll
content compared to the 'Untreated' red beet. Therefore, applying VitaSweet and

Product Efficacy Results – Winter Wheat
• A field trial of winter wheat was conducted in Market Weighton, York in 2013 to
test the efficacy of VitaFinish under varying application rates and timings.
• It is clear that the application of VitaFinish improved the crop’s yield on all
occasions compared to the control (which received 200kg of Nitrogen).
• VitaFinish’s technology significantly increases Mg and Fe utilisation, enhancing
photosynthetic rate which results in increased sugar production turned into yield.

Product Efficacy Results – Seed Potato
Products that increase the number of tubers per plant are of great commercial
interest, increasing the overall yield. A blind, independent efficacy trials of several
products (including VitaSweet and VitaCal) were conducted to measure several quality
and yield parameters of a potato seed crop.
