The Free Family Fun Fest was held at the Charles J. Johnson Park in Town Center and featured live entertainment, pet adoptions, blood pressure checks, a moon bounce, face painting, laser quest, clowns, jugglers, police, fire, sheriff's department displays, a Tinker Air Force Base military display and arts and crafts. At right are employees of corporate sponsor FNB MWC who cooked over 500 free hot dogs at the event. (Left) Ghostbusters and Star Wars characters were on hand for the fun. 1st Place winner of the pet parade sponsored by The Oklahoma City Abstract & Title Company was "DOOD", a Labradoodle owned by Mark and Linda Barnett. Sheraton Midwest City Hotel wins Frontier Country Honor at Annual Awards Ceremony Lt. Governor Jari Askins presented the Frontier Country Outstanding Hospitality Provider of the Year award to Kimberly Breitwieser, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Sheraton MWC Hotel at the Reed Conference Center on June 26th. Pictured with them is Emily Reagan with Frontier Country. Managed by the award- winning DePalma Hotel Corporation, the facility has had an amazing two year run which includes numerous recognitions and shining moments. Much of this success can be attributed to a guest-service-above-all-else philosophy and culture that can be found throughout the facility. Congratulations! Tuan Nguyen receives the Charles J. Johnson Youth Excel Scholarship Award from James Chappel, Chamber President and City Manager Guy Henson at the June Board of Directors Meeting. Tuan also received a $500 scholarship for college.
