God, our Father/Abba. Jesus, the Only Begotten Son
of God, taught us the importance of prayer and

Professing God’s Fatherhood, the Lord’s Prayer
should serve as our daily source of inspiration.
Praying with faith fanned with hope, let us re?lect
upon God’s readiness to listen to us, our persistent
request and legitimacy of persevering in our
petitions. God will never tire Himself with our
insistence and perseverance to grant our requests
and petitions. We just need to have that childlike
attitudeandfaithinGod,ourFather.

CCD Classes will start in English on
Wednesday, August 1, 2016 at 6:00pm
and in Spanish on Thursday, September
Saint Vincent de Paul Society. We ar e pr oud
recipients of a $4000 grant from the Sacramento Food
Bank and Family Services. The purpose of this grant
is to help fund a much needed expansion of our
facilities. The total cost is estimated at around $9000. In order
to avoid taking money previously raised to purchase food we
will be asking for donations specifically designated to fund this
project. If you don't have the ability to donate funds, please
consider volunteering your time or talents. We will update you
