Restaur
Make new friends while discovering
new favorite foods!
Monday, April 11th is “Eat 4 Peace Day,” the result
of a House of Representatives Resolution inspired
by local and national food personality Tony Luke,
who opened a restaurant in the country of Bahrain
where he observed firsthand the phenomenon of
healthy and positive relations being forged between
multinational patrons who dined together
exchanging cultural foods.
“It is with great honor that I recognize the week of
April 11 to April 22, 2016, as our 4th annual Eat 4
Peace Week. This program encourages individuals
to dine with people of diverse cultures, sharing
culinary offerings from around the world. Our
district is the most diverse in the Commonwealth,
where over 70 languages are spoken. And we thank
our sponsor, Destination Delco for helping us
promote this fun and exciting program.”
“There is no better place to celebrate
diversity through food than in our
great communities of East
Lansdowne, Lansdowne, Millbourne,
Upper Darby and Yeadon!”
— Margo L. Davidson
