surrounded by the beauty of Great Smoky Mountains. Some of the
residents have lived here for generations, some are young families
attracted to the beauty of the area, while others have chosen to retire in
Pigeon Forge area. By the late 1980’s the opening of Dollywood
Entertainment Park turned Pigeon Forge into a major tourist destination. In
addition to the Smoky Mountain scenery, Pigeon Forge has plenty of parks
and recreational areas, an outstanding community center and public
library
