For over 90% of you, email is one of the top ways for you to get information. And it just so happens that email is how the PTA would prefer to communicate with YOU! But in order for this to be an effective means of communication, we need your email address! The PTA has a separate email database than what the school district has and because of privacy concerns, they cannot share their list with the PTA. So please go to www.KokaneePTA. com/membership and join to leave us your email address so you can receive volunteer requests, calendar updates and more! October 2013 Message from the PTA Presidents Our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Fall Fun Run, has been a HUGE success! We raised 102% of our goal and more donations are trickling in each day. We are so proud of our parents, teachers and staff for working together and supporting our students. The Fun Run would not be possible without our great volunteers! Thank you so much to Katy Carlsward, Staci Steffy, Maulitta Brown, Kimberly Nolz, Shelley Swen- son, Teresa Bordenet, Lynessa Betts, Jen Rees, Lara Irish, Robin Mckenzie, Wendy Martin, Donna Morgan and Juliana Omli. We are looking forward to seeing you and your family at the next Dining for Dollars event at Teddy’s Bigger Burgers in Woodinville on October 24th. And don’t forget to mark your calendars for our popular HOLIDAY CRAFT FAIR on November 16 in the Kokanee Gym. This year, we are offering free booths to volunteers, staff and students. Please see our PTA website for more details about that — and plan on getting a ton of holiday shopping done at the fair (and don’t forget to bring non-perishable goods to be donated to the Maltby Food Bank)! As always, thank you so much for your continued support of the PTA. We wouldn’t be able to support our kids without each one of you. — Kristen Wiley and Tracy Miller Orange Ruler: A HUGE SUCCESS!
