ABCO Credit Department is eligible to participate. This includes customers with cash accounts as well as customers who pay by credit card. Gift Cards are intended
for the proprietor of the customer that purchases a Unit. Units purchased that are part of a project price or special price quote do not qualify for this promotion. ABCO

HERB BATROUNY JOINS ABCO
AS EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT
OF SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
As part of our ongoing dedication to providing customers with worldclass delivery service, easier access to product information and greater
product availability, ABCO has named Herb Batrouny as Executive Vice
President of Supply Chain Management.
Herb, who will report directly to ABCO CEO Michael Senter,
is recognized as one of the industry’s foremost supply chain management
experts. He will be responsible for leading ABCO’s 18 branches, central
distribution, purchasing and inventory management.
During his career at Johnson Controls, Inc./York International, Herb
served as Vice President, JCI Unitary Supply Chain, a $900 million
Residential and Light Commercial equipment and aftermarket parts business.
He was responsible for Pricing, Customer Service, Sales Forecasting,
Inventory Management, Production Scheduling, Purchasing ($600 million
global spend), Receiving, Shipping, Logistics and Warranty Management.
Most recently, as Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific Operations
and Global Supply Chain for NIBE International (WaterFurnace Division),
Herb led an international joint venture involving several HVAC and
Refrigeration companies.
We fully expect that the needs of our HVAC and Refrigeration customers
will continue to intensify. For ABCO, that means finding new ways to
meet the challenges of more deliveries and faster response times.
Together with our Operations and IT departments, Herb and the ABCO
Supply Chain Management team will be embracing automation to provide
more precise data that is used in our warehousing, purchasing, inventory
management, distribution and logistics. These efforts will add even more
efficiency and speed throughout ABCO.
One of Herb’s immediate steps will be to begin implementing more
focused demand planning. He explains, “The goal is to improve our ability
to predict and prevent inefficiencies. Ordering can be advanced.
Warehouse space can be allocated more precisely. Delivery delays can be
minimized, and most important of all, customer satisfaction rises.” The use
of more sophisticated data is comparable to sports, like baseball, which
used to rely on simple statistics, but now can get greater performance by
analyzing deeper metrics.
“We’re really excited to have Herb join the team,” said Hugh Drumm,
ABCO Executive Vice President of HVAC Sales. “With Herb at the head
of ABCO Supply Chain Management, we’ll be able to work smarter to
achieve even higher levels of service for our customers,
and for their customers.”
