Meeting on water supply in Adriatic region to open Tuesday
BELGRADE, Nov 24 2014. (Tanjug) - The Belgrade-based Jaroslav Cerni water management
institute will from Tuesday, November 25, to November 28 host a regional meeting of partner countries
in the Adriatic region as part of the Drinkadria project.
It is a project aimed at networking for drinking water supply in the Adriatic Region, and will
involve representatives of all 17 partner institutions from countries of the Adriatic region: Italy,
Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Greece and Serbia.
As part of the meeting, a visit to Belgrade's Makis water treatment plant is scheduled for
November 26.
Drinkadria is a project that was launched in December 2013, and will last until March 2016.
The project is funded by the EU through the IPA programme (Adriatic Cross Border
Cooperation 2007-2013), and the project budget amounts to EUR 6.65 million.
The project focuses on common problems related to water supply in the Adriatic basin,
network losses, aging infrastructure, low water price, rising demand for water, impact of climate
change and large seasonal disparity in water consumption.
The Jaroslav Cerni institute is the only Serbian institution involved in the Drinkadria project.
As well as being a leading partner for Work Package 3 - Capitalisation and Sustainability, it is
also participating in other project activities, including analysis of regional characteristics of climate
changes, a risk analysis with regards to accessibility and security of water resources used for water
supply, development of methods for planning regional and cross-border water supply systems, and
activities aimed at improving efficiency and water loss control in pilot areas.
The implementation of the Drinkadria project is doubly important for Serbian citizens - in
addition to providing information on waterworks systems and aquifers in other countries and their work
practices, national workshops in Serbia discuss problems related to water supply, attempting to define
and propose the most suitable variants for solving them.

Za snabdevanja vodom u Jadranskoj regiji 6,65 miliona evra
BEOGRAD, 25. novembra 2014. (Tanjug) - Zemlje Jadranskog sliva rade na izradi protokola
za otklanjanje eventualnih problema oko zajednicckih vodovodnih sistema i izvorissta podzemnih
voda, a budzzet tog projekta iznosi 6,65 miliona evra.
Jadranskog sliva: Italije, Slovenije, Hrvatske, Bosne i Hercegovine, Crne Gore, Albanije, Grccke i
pocceo danas u Beogradu i trajache do 28. novembra.
projekta iznosi 6,65 miliona evra.
uticaji klimatskih promena, velika sezonska neravnomernost potrossnje vode.
uccestvuje i u drugim aktivnostima projekta.

Probni rad "Makissa 2" do polovine decembra
BEOGRAD, 26. novembra 2014. (Tanjug) - Probni rad nove fabrike vode "Makiss 2" biche
Beogradskom vodovodu i kanalizaciji, Marko Milaccich.
On je, uccesnicima regionalnog sastanka "Drinkadrija"- povezivanje radi snabdevanja
"Pusstanjem u rad 'Makissa 2' Beogradjani che dobiti stabilnost i sigurnost u vodosnabdevanju
kvalitetnom vodom i tokom najtezzih perioda, kada je potrossnja najvecha za vreme leta, i oko
praznika Sveti Nikola u decembru", kazao je on.
zemalja Jadranskog regiona: Italije, Slovenije, Hrvatske, BiH, Crne Gore, Albanije, Grccke i Srbije.
