
TO SET A TRANSACTION TO BE POSTED TO YOUR SAVINGS ACCOUNT:
Please use your account number only.
For example, if your account number is 12345, use 12345, not 123450 or 12345-0
Note: the ONLY Savings Account that can be accessed electronically or for Direct Deposit is your
Main Share 0 account.
TO SET A TRANSACTION TO BE POSTED TO YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT:
Please use the MICR number, located at the bottom of your checks.
This number begins with 261171215, which is the Routing and Transit number for Augusta VAH
Federal Credit Union, and the next number beginning with 71027 is your specific Share Draft
Account number (see below for example).
It is important to use this number and not the account number with a suffix.
For example, if your account number is 12345, you should use the MICR 7102700012345,
not 123459 or 12345-9. This is imperative if you have more than one Checking Account here at
Augusta VAH FCU. If you do not have a check available and need your MICR #, contact the credit union to have it sent to you.
If you do NOT use the MICR (each checking has its own unique MICR), you could risk
mis-posting an item to the wrong checking account and cause an overdraft or return situation.
