THE TEDDYBEARS’ LIBRARY SLEEPOVER AN ALPHABET ADVENTURE The librarians arrange the teddy bears neatly on the carts and then leave for the night. The bears look to the left. The bears look to the right. The coast is clear. A is for Acrobatics. Bears do handstands and turn cartwheels, happy to be free! B is for Bears, Books, and Books about Bears. C is for Camp-0ut! (Books make great tents.) D is for Dragons. This brave bear hops aboard! What’s inside this Egg? A baby dino! (He’s friendly.) F is for Friends of all shapes & sizes. Globe begins with G. H is for Houses. Three bears pay a visit to the three little pigs’ houses. One bear gets stuck. I is for Icicle and Ice-Cream. Brrrrrr! JUMP! K is for Kangaroo. L is for LOUD!!! Mmmmmm! = what you say when food is yummy N = Noodles (like spaghetti) Octopus starts with O. (This one makes a lively hat.) Pop-Ups are our letter P. Sir Didimus Von Ahoyton Caruthers Esquire PoohBear has the honor of meeting the Queen. The stuffed animals glide down the Runway of the book Return. S is Silly! This silly duck investigates the check-out machine and the book return. Tutu is a terrific T-word. Here are Two ways to wear one! U is for Underwear. Underwear Bear checks out the book return. V is for VVVRRROOOOMMM! (That’s the sound a car engine makes.) W is for WWWEEEEEEEE! (That’s the sound people make when they slide down slides and the sound bears make when they slide down library book drops.) X is for XOXOXO: The writing on a valentine. Was that a Yyyaaawnnn?
