We’re Going on a Bear Hunt By: Michael Rosen *Storyville, an early learning literacy center for children ages birth through five, is located at our Rosedale and Woodlawn branches. A brave family journey’s through sweeping landscapes in search of a bears. ReadRover and ReadRover+ are mobile library services of the Baltimore County Public Library and part of the Baltimore County “Focus on the First Years” initiative, helping our children start school ready to learn. Supplementary Activity M O B I L E Read Together Big/Little Size Book Two-year-olds can use size words, like big/little or short/tall. Try to use books that show mother animals with their babies, or books with pictures of large and small familiar things. For example Where’s My Teddy? by Jez Alborough. Glue or tape the paper plates together. Cut arms, legs, ears, belly and face from construction paper. Glue or tape the construction paper to the paper plates. Glue googly eyes onto bear’s face.
