DESIGNED FOR
LIFE.
Practical cars don’t come any smarter. But there’s much more to
the Combo Tour than its friendly front. Inside there’s elbow- and
legroom to spare. Not that size is everything. The bright, airy interior and comfy seats make everyone feel at home. So whether it’s a
school run, commute or long drive to the beach, the Tour is a great
place to spend some quality time.
Everything you need. From child seats to cargo nets, Opel offers
the full range of accessories. At www.opel-accessories.com

NOW IN A CAR.
Your friends, your toys, the kids, their toys. There’s always something different to fit in
your car, so it’s good to know the Tour is built to adapt. You can choose between a five- or
seven-seat version and two sliding side doors come standard. Thanks to Opel’s clever foldand-tumble seating system, it’s easy to arrange the space any way you choose. The Tour is
built for safety as well, which takes the worry out of driving no matter what you’re up to.

A day out shouldn’t cost a fortune. So the Opel Combo Tour has
some of the most efficient fuel consumption figures in its class –
plus low CO2 emissions. To reduce the impact of driving on the environment – and your wallet – one turbocharged Tour¹ uses just five litres of diesel per 100 km2. Other great savers are the natural gas/
petrol hybrid engine, optional Start/Stop technology and low service costs. See page 29 to find out more.

Essentia.
The Combo Tour Essentia¹ has
everything you need in an
everyday car. Roomy, comfortable and reliable, it’s excellent
value for money. Alongside
two practical sliding doors,
power steering, electric front
windows and daytime running
lights also come standard. If
you want even more space,
there are also versions with
long wheelbase, or with high
roof, or with both.

1. Five seats or seven. With the Tour’s fold-and-tumble seat-
2.
ing system, you can change the seat/luggage split in no time at
all. Headrests and ISOFIX brackets come standard in the second
row.
2. Overhead storage. The Essentia is packed with practical
ideas, like a shelf that runs across the top of the windscreen.
Here you can store things out of sight and still get at them without having to bend down.
3. Bags of room. There’s plenty of room for your luggage in
1.
the boot, which you can make even bigger by folding down all or
3.
part of the rear seat. The optional 12-volt socket is ideal for day
trips when you might want to plug in portable gear like a barbecue, light or stereo system. 4. More than a pretty fascia. The ergonomic dash comes
complete with controls for all sorts of functions – like optional
climate control.
4.

enjoy.
It’s a pleasure to take the
wheel of the Tour Enjoy, and
that’s not just down to the
stylish interior in red or grey.
The steering wheel itself has
adjustable reach and rake,
plus there’s the added convenience of remote central locking and the other special features shown on this page.
Excellent fuel consumption
and emissions only add to the
fun.
14

1. Tone it up. The Enjoy is all about choice. You can add to the
2.
bright feel of the interior with a selection of two-tone trims.
Added safety comes from a passenger airbag1.
2. Power on tap. The 12-volt socket in the boot is just the trick
for powering appliances at picnics and campsites – or when it’s
time to give your Tour the once-over with a vacuum cleaner.
3. Keep it safe. Have your valuables stored safely out of sight
in the boot under the soft luggage cover.
4. Open instantly. The Enjoy comes with remote control
central locking that you trigger straight from your key.

cosmo.
The Cosmo gives you the best
the Tour range has to offer, inside and out. Like the tailgate,
bumpers and mirrors in the
body colour of your choosing
and an adjustable hard luggage cover. The trims are
striking while the top-of-therange spec includes electrically adjustable exterior mirrors,
electric rear windows and a
six-way adjustable driver’s
seat with lumbar support.
You’ll appreciate the sense of
space, the great fuel economy
and the rock-solid reliability.

make it a pleasure to take a ride in the Cosmo. The Star interior
is available in Walnut or Blue. Turn to page 31 for a closer look at
your colour options.
2. Matching bumper colour. With bumpers and mirrors that
match the colour of the body, the Cosmo has a touch of class
that sets it apart.
3. Ergonomic driver’s seat. The Cosmo takes care of the people who take care of everyone else, with a driver’s seat that’s
specially designed to be good for your back. In addition to a
separate armrest, the seat comes with an adjustable lumbar area.

VERSATILITY.
It’s not just how much gear you can fit in your car that matters.
It’s how easy it is to get it all on board. The Combo Tour is designed with versatility built-in to make loading and unloading
as simple as possible. That makes running tasks a lot simpler
too. For more storage options, check out the accessories on
page 24.
1.
2.
1. Hard luggage cover that takes 70 kg. A soft luggage cover is excellent for hiding
your valuables but if you carry a lot of gear, this extra-strong option is best.
2. Split-level storage. Luggage isn’t always designed to stack neatly in the back of a
car but with the hard luggage cover, that doesn’t matter. You can mount it at two different heights to help separate bulky gear from the rest of your luggage, and load up
easier and quicker. The cover is standard on the Cosmo and an option on the Enjoy.

PRACTICALITY.
If you’ve never had a car with two sliding side
doors, you’re in for a treat – especially when
you park in a tight spot. But that’s only half the
story. The rear doors on the Tour are just as
practical. Their design makes life a lot simpler,
whichever version you choose.
The rear tailgate. The standard version of Tour comes with a
broad tailgate, heated window and smart paint finish that
matches the colour of the car. The tailgate opens upwards for
uncluttered access to the boot and the low height of the sill
makes it easy to lift heavy items in and out.
20
Asymmetrical rear doors. The Tour’s big load space gives it a
pretty high roof so if your garage has a low ceiling, you might
want to order the optional asymmetrical rears doors that open
out to the sides. They’re also useful if you need to hide the contents of your boot from prying eyes.
21
SAFETY AND
INFOTAINMENT.
Every Combo Tour comes with front airbags, a sturdy passenger
cell made of high-grade steel and ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution. Active safety equipment includes aids like
Anti-Slip Regulation and ESP®, plus Hill Start Assist to help you
move off on steep starts. To keep you in touch and entertained,
there’s a full selection of optional sat navs, stereos and wireless
communication systems.
1.
2.
3.
1. Hill Start Assist. Move off with ease on the steepest inclines. This device holds the
foot brakes for two seconds after you release the handbrake.
2. Park Assist. Takes the strain off your nerves and neck when you’re parking by detecting obstacles at the rear end of the car and beeping if you get too close.
3. Side airbags. These create a cushioned cocoon with the standard front airbags.

formats and includes a hands-free text message reader and radio/media player that
you can operate via steering wheel-mounted controls. All other media formats are supported via Bluetooth® and the aux-in/USB port.
5. TomTom GO 1000 LIVE sat nav. Combined with a docking station, this portable
navigation system offers all the benefits of a factory-installed sat nav plus the perks of
a mobile unit.
6. Steering wheel-mounted multimedia controls help you multitask and still
concentrate on the road. You can adjust speaker volume and the text message read5.
out, accept incoming calls or set voice recognition and stereo options.
7. Alternative aux-in/USB ports for the Bluetooth® text message reader. Access
compatible mobile devices via Bluetooth® or aux-in/USB to safely read text messages
and multimedia files like MP3, MP4 and WMA. You can keep your hands on the wheel
while incoming messages are read over the speakers.

paint on the sills.

1. Child seats. Opel offers the full range
of child seats for kids of all ages. Of
course, the Tour comes with ISOFIX
brackets built-in, a robust kid-proof build
and plenty of space and light in the back.
3.
2. Vertical cargo net. Keep mess separate from your seats. Dog walkers will love
this accessory that stops their dirty dogs
causing more work. An additional hard
cargo tray helps protect the floor.
3. Electronic Climate Control. The
Cosmo offers an optional advanced airconditioning system that lets you set the
temperature of the car and maintains it.
26
4. Safety grid. The substantial rigid steel safety grid meets ISO 27955. It fits behind
the rear seats, firmly separating the luggage, loads or pets from the passengers.
5. Heated seat. Your Opel Combo Tour keeps you warm whatever the weather with
optional seat heating.
6. Opel’s Easytronic® semi-automatic transmission lets you choose which way you
want to change gears. Select automatic for an easy ride in stop-and-go traffic, or
switch to manual for a more hands-on drive.
7. Floor mats. Keep the carpets clean wherever you go. You can remove and wash
these optional mats.

Combo Tour engines give you a great drive for their size. What’s more, you can look forward to long service intervals (up to 35.000 km or two years) and excellent fuel consumption, for example on the especially efficient
1.3 CDTI diesel engine. Most engines are available with optional Start/Stop technology, reducing urban cycle
fuel bills, the standard shift indicator helps to further minimize consumption. There are seven engines in total
to choose from, depending on the type of Combo you buy: two 1.4 litre petrol units – naturally aspirated and
turbocharged, one natural gas engine and four turbocharged diesels.
Value for money shouldn’t come at the
expense of the environment. With the Tour
you can be sure that isn’t the case.

weight in running order, as specified by the regulation. Additional equipment may lead to slightly higher results than the stated consumption and CO2 figures. The figures for fuel consumption and CO2 emissions do not relate to a specific vehicle and are not part of
an offer. They are provided only for the purpose of comparison between different vehicle variants. Additional equipment may increase the weight of the vehicle when empty and in some cases the permissible axle weights as well as the permissible total weight of the
vehicle and reduce the permissible towing weights. This may lead to a reduction in top speed and increased acceleration time. Driving performance figures assume a 75 kg driver plus a 125 kg load.
