Body Clone™ includes Giordana®’s most technical
garments. Only the highest quality materials and most
advanced construction techniques are employed to
provide state of the art pieces that enhance the cycling
experience. The materials have been created using
special manufacturing processes incorporating elastic
fibers to create materials that are stretchy and breathable. The benefit of these materials is that they allow
muscle extension and contraction, yet reduce vibrations,
thus delaying fatigue and enhancing performance.

FORMA™ JACKET
FormaTM Jacket
The outer shell in the Body Clone Collection is the
new Forma Jacket. It is constructed with Activa
Plus GTBTM which is a multi-layer fabric that is
windproof, waterproof and breathable. The Meryl
ActisystemTM outer layer has a titanium treatment,
which increases opacity and filters out UV rays. The
middle layer is a WindTex® membrane, which is
windproof, waterproof, lightweight, elastic and
breathable. Inside is a soft pile lining of insulating
polyester for warmth. The jacket is form-fitting yet
remains elastic to conform to every movement. The
Forma Jacket is light weight and fast drying. Three
cargo compartments plus a fourth zippered
compartment offer ample room for carrying necessities. There is reflective piping on the sleeves and
the rear pockets, as well as a reflective full-length
zipper for enhanced visibility. The collar is extra tall
and the zipper has a protective flap to seal out the
elements. A silicone waist gripper featuring the
Giordana® logo keeps the jacket perfectly in place

Forma™ Jersey
An essential part of the Body Clone TM winter collection is the Forma Long Sleeve Jersey. The jersey is
constructed of Moovix and Moovix HD materials,
which offer the utmost in comfort due to the unique
honey-comb shaped structure of the material. This
allows the fabric to stretch in all directions, not just
the four directions of normal Lycra materials. The
microfiber material along with the structure of the
fabric allows for a higher degree of opacity to
protect against UV rays as well as provide a micromassaging effect on the skin that can help delay
muscle fatigue. Moovix has extremely high
moisture moving characteristics to keep you dry.
As with the entire Body Clone collection, the
Forma Jersey is patterned to fit your body while on
the bike making it feel invisible and offering a layer
of protection you barely notice. Flat stitched seams
are comfortable and create the most precise fit
possible. Double stitching assures maximum
resistance to wear and tear. Technical features
include a 35cm invisible zipper, reflective logos and
piping for increased visibility. There is even a
reflective zippered pocket with pull-tab for securing
valuables. A silicone waist gripper featuring the

Forma™ Super Roubaix™ Bib Tights
Brand new for the 2007 season, these Forma
Tights feature numerous panels for precise fit and
maximum comfort. Just as with the Forma Bib
Shorts and Shorts the Forma Tights are
constructed on a curve to “clone” your body’s
natural riding position. The resulting fit is more
comfortable and precise than ever before. Super
Roubaix material provides warmth and insulation
yet allows your skin to breathe so you don’t over
heat. Mesh along the spine allows perspiration to
evaporate. The unique Forma bib straps are so
comfortable you won’t know they’re there as there
are no seams to cause irritation and they stretch to

protection. A one-way membrane allows perspiration to escape but keeps rain out. This lightweight

colder climates, the Techno™ Jersey offers an advanced

The unique textured knit of Michron has been a
favorite in the Giordana summer line due to its

Giordana® Team and Trade garments are cold weather
versions of their summer counterparts. The team kits
are the official team prints and are the same ones worn
by the riders. Giordana clothing has been prominent in
the pro and amateur circuit for over 25 years and we
continue this tradition for 2006 with an emphasis on
the domestic race scene.
The Giordana trade jerseys feature some of the original
designs of the GITA brands. In addition this year we’ve

Giordana Custom Apparel programs bring professional level cycling gear to your local team or club. The
patterns, fabrics and printing knowledge that go into
the clothing worn by top professional riders will make
your custom clothing stand out in the pack. Your riders
will also benefit from the proven performance features
of Giordana Apparel.

SEMI CUSTOM PROGRAM
FULL CUSTOM PROGRAM
Designed for the team or club that requires a
broad range of garment choices, printed with
totally unique, personalized designs.
Designed for smaller orders. It’s also an option
for organizations that don’t have the time and/or
budget to take part in the Full Custom program.
Our in-house graphics department works in
tandem with our manufacturing facility in Italy to
take your order all the way from artwork
conception to final printing. Whether your
organization has completed artwork, or merely a
rough idea for a design, we will work with you
through every stage to help you realize your
vision.
The Semi Custom program combines innovative
designs on a variety of pre-printed garments
with a process called digital dye sublimation to
achieve a customized professional look.
We recommend the Full Custom option for
those who want to order 30 or more pieces.
Cost is based on the quantity of garments
ordered and the number of colors in the artwork.

The Full Custom program requires a minimum of
30 tops and/or 30 bottoms. Tops may be split
between various garment types as long as at
least 10 pieces of each are ordered. Bottoms
may be split between bibs and shorts as long as
at least 10 of each are ordered.
We recommend the Semi Custom option for
those who want to order less than 30 total
pieces. Cost is calculated on a per impression
basis, so clubs and teams without the professional budget can keep costs lower. For more

There are no minimum quantities for Giordana
Semi Custom orders!
Semi Custom garments are printed locally, so
turn around time is reduced. You’ll be riding in
your gear just 2-4 weeks after final artwork
approval. (Sometimes it is possible for us to
complete orders faster, if necessary. In these
cases a rush charge will apply.)
Production time is typically 60 days after final
artwork approval for Full Custom orders. Please
allow 1-2 weeks additional time for shipping
overseas and customs inspection.

ULTIMATE: The Ultimate performance category consists of two collections:

SPORT: Giordana invests all of its experience in each of our apparel categories.

™
ELITE -GEL O.F.
™
The ELITE-GEL O.F. pad is the most advanced
model in the OmniForm collection. It has been
designed for Giordana®'s most prestigious apparel
lines. All components have been fully researched to
ensure the highest quality. The thickness of the
Elite-Gel O.F. varies and is designed to comfortably
contour the anatomy and provide protection where
needed most. A special synthetic gel is inserted in
the middle section to increase protection and
eliminate vibrations between the saddle and body.
The external micro fiber polyester fabric is applied to
the insert using Giordana’s unique OmniForm
technology, a special high-frequency molding
process that softens the pad without having to use
the more traditional high-temperature molding
techniques. The Elite-Gel O.F. insert is elastic and
contours body movements when riding, then returns
to its original shape. The advanced technology and
details make the Elite-Gel O.F. the ideal pad for
demanding athletes who always require maximum
quality.
3D-O.F.
™
The 3D-O.F. pad is a one piece, seamless insert that
is both lightweight and flexible. Made of polyester
micro fiber, it is designed to adapt to the contours of
the body in motion, permitting natural movement.
The 3D-O.F. is molded with Giordana’s highfrequency OmniForm technology that eliminates the
sharp edges and hard areas caused by the high
temperature used in normal molding processes. It is
constructed with differentiated thickness to provide

W3D-O.F.
™
W3D-O.F. is the women’s specific version of our
3D-O.F. insert. It is specially designed for use in our
top of the line women’s shorts The pad is a result of
a study focused on female body movements when
pedaling, taking into account a woman's different
protection needs. The W3D-O.F. is also molded

Giordana utilizes a variety of technically advanced fabrics to
construct the top quality garments in this catalog. The following
is a brief description of their performance:
Island is a lightweight micro-fiber fabric finished with a special
polyurethane treatment, making it highly resistant to wind and rain.
At the same time millions of micro-pores provide a means for
perspiration vapors to escape.
Our new breathable micro-fiber material is wind and
water-resistant. Due to its unique structure these characteristics are permanent, as they are actually built into the
fabric. Extremely lightweight and compactible it keeps the
elements at bay.
A triple layer fabric enhanced with a lightweight, ultra-thin,
non-porous polyester membrane that is totally water-proof,
completely windproof, and highly breathable. It is invisibly
laminated between the lining and the outer material of the
jacket, providing technical and highly efficient solutions for
making functionally innovative cycling wear. The unique nonporous construction of the membrane creates an absolute
wall against wetness. Utilizing the properties of physics and
chemistry, that same impenetrable water barrier actually
transports perspiration, enabling your body to breathe at the
same time.

Activa Plus ™
Activa Plus uses Meryl Actisystem™ the next generation of
innovative, high performance and versatile fibers. This moisture
moving fabric has a special titanium treatment that increases
opacity, which filters out UV rays. Activa Plus fabrics have an
Ultra Violet Protection Factor (UPF) of 125+; nearly four times
that of untreated polyester.
Activa Plus GTB ™
Michron
The latest in fiber and knitting technologies have yielded
Giordana’s best performance jersey fabric ever. 100% polyester
micro fiber yarns move moisture off the skin more rapidly than ever
before. The unique miniature honeycomb textured knit allows
airflow to keep you cool. Michron is a performance fabric
breakthrough.
Roubaix ™
Roubaix is made with a special interlocking knit that fits
like nylon/spandex, but is thicker. It is brushed on the
inside surface to create air pockets that retain body
warmth. It is ideal for tights and warmers where warmth
and freedom of movement are critical.
Techno
Moovix
SU 1220
SU 1220 is composed of three layers. The outermost
layer is 40 denier Lycra, while the innermost layer is a
fleece lining which helps the body to retain heat. In
between is a semi-permeable membrane making the
garment both windproof and water resistant.
Caneté looks and feels soft, but its knit is optimized to keep the
body warm in cold weather. The smooth look gives a less bulky
appearance.
A lightweight hollow micro-fiber material utilized for jerseys and
shorts within the TenaxTM collection. The unique honeycomb
structure, which incorporates nylon and Dupont Lycra, enables
Moovix to stretch equally in all directions, not just the two or four
way stretch of standard spandex materials. Its high stretch and
compression rate also produces a micro-massaging effect on the
skin, delaying muscle fatigue. Due to its high opacity Moovix
effectively protects against UVA and UVB rays. Its high moisture
moving capability further augments the comfort that Moovix
garments provide. This feature is also achieved via its unique
honeycomb knit. An antibacterial treatment inhibits the growth of
odor causing bacteria in all Moovix garments.
In-Vent
Moovix HD
Supplex ®
WindTex®
In-Vent combines excellent resistance to wind with very
lightweight material. It’s microfilament yarns keep wind and
water out, while remaining permeable to perspiration.
Moovix HD is a heavier version of Moovix. It retains all the benefits
of Moovix with the increased durability that winter garments
require.
From DuPont, this nylon and Lycra-spandex blend
combines cottony-soft comfort with the gentle support,
superb fit and freedom of movement that only spandex
can provide. It is a practical fusion of softness and stretch.
WindTex fabric is composed of three layers. The outermost
layer is smooth and resistant to wind. The middle layer is a
semi-permeable membrane that protects from rain, but
allows vaporized perspiration to escape. Closest to the
body is a soft-brushed material that retains warmth.
A multi-layer fabric that is windproof, waterproof and breathable.
The Meryl Actisystem™ outer layer has a special titanium
treatment to filter out UV rays. The intermediate layer is a
WindTex® membrane, windproof, waterproof, lightweight, elastic
and breathable. Inside is a pile lining of insulating polyester with
a unique modular structure. Activa Plus GTB has a high thermal
capacity while retaining the advantages of being lightweight and
fast drying.
Caneté ™ 45
Super Roubaix ™
A micro-fiber version of our Roubaix material, Super
Roubaix moves moisture more efficiently and has better
breath ability. Garments made with Super Roubaix have
slightly higher compression effects, which provide a
massaging effect on muscles.
Techno brings advanced micro-fiber moisture transportation
to winter jerseys. Perspiration is rapidly moved away from the
skin as vapor, ensuring riders feel warm and dry.
Thermo Plus ™
Thermo Plus a micro fiber material with wicking properties that
moves moisture away from the body. Its elasticity provides
enhanced fit in garments that utilize it.
Thermosquare
Features a unique quad knit construction that rapidly moves
