term (2017-2018). The District is seeking two people to fill a vacancy
on the five member board. The ARB normally meets in June and July
for approximately 15 days. Each member is paid $150.00 per day.
Applicants must have lived within Fayette County for the last 2 years,
must not be a board member, employee or officer of a taxing unit
served by the appraisal district, must demonstrate the ability to
communicate well with the public and be willing to attend a training
session sponsored by the Property Tax Assistance Division, State

CITY OF CARMINE
TEXAS COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT WATER
PROJECT NO. 7214071
The City of Carmine will conduct a Close Out Public Hearing to discuss the activities
accomplished during the implementation of a Texas Department of Rural Affairs funded
Water System Improvements
project under Contract No.
7214071. At the Hearing the
actual accomplishments of the
grant funded activities will be
discussed including replacement of high service pump
station, 2 centrifugal pumps,
hydro pneumatic pressure tank,
electrical and controls and new
chlorination system at the water works yard on Brunn Lane.
In addition the installation of
300 linear feet of eight-inch
waterlines, road bore, fire hydrant, service reconnections,
gate valves, revegetation and
pavement repair. The line improvements occurred at Hwy
290 East from the Northside of
Hwy 290 East to the Southside
of Hwy 290 West.
In addition the City’s participation in Affirmative Action, the
Citizen Participation Plan and
Equal Opportunity will be discussed. At this time the City of
Carmine will also present information regarding the National
Fair Housing Act and will discuss ways to implement Fair
Housing within the City.
The Public Hearing will be held
on Monday, October 17, 2016
at 7:00 p.m. at the Carmine City
Offices, 248 East Sylvan Street,
Carmine, Texas. All citizens
and interested parties are en-
