Park. Both Brownfield projects were recognized with EPA Phoenix Awards representing
outstanding work in brownfield redevelopment.

STOCKTON EVENTS CENTER
Location: Stockton, CA
Client: City of Stockton
Awards: 2008 US EPA Region 9 Phoenix Award
Services:Environmental
Langan Treadwell Rollo performed a multi-site expedited Remedial
Investigation/Feasibility Study, developed a Remedial Action Plan, supervised the
cleanup, and prepared the final report on behalf of the Stockton Housing and
Redevelopment Agency. Previous uses of the parcels included bulk fuel storage, paint
manufacturing, shipbuilding and repair, automotive repair, dairy product storage, and
rail yards. The sites have been redeveloped with a sports complex, baseball stadium,
hotel and retail stores.

THE SHOPS AT ATLAS PARK
Location: Queens, NY
Client: A & Co.; The Hemmerdinger Corporation; Desman Associates
Awards: National Phoenix Award for Excellence in Brownfield Development, Region 2
(USEPA) ACEC Gold Award (2007) for Engineering Excellence
A former brownfield site, this lifestyle center consists of a two-acre "green" area
surrounded by shops, restaurants, and a cinema. Langan provided environmental,
surveying, geotechnical, and site/civil engineering services for this redevelopment.

The Jersey Gardens project transformed an abandoned urban landfill into a thriving, 1.5
million-square-foot retail center.

BROWNFIELD GRANT PROGRAM
Location: Bucks County, PA
Client: Bucks County Redevelopment Authority
Langan has been instrumental in the assessment, cleanup and redevelopment of
Brownfield sites for the Bucks County Redevelopment Authority since the beginning of
the US EPA Brownfield Grant Program in 1997. We have helped them create
successful Brownfield programs which to date have leveraged over $4.3 million in US
EPA Grants and loans and over $6.7 million in Pennsylvania State grants for the
redevelopment of Brownfield sites.

19TH CENTURY SCOVILL BRASS FACTORY
Location: Waterbury, CT
Client: Brass Center Ltd.
Services:Demolition; Geotechnical; Environmental; Data Management & Visualization
The long-defunct brass manufacturing center, once 90+ decaying buildings on a
100-acre downtown site, was prepared for a rebirth. Langan's value engineering and
effective construction management saved the client over $9.5 million.

BRONX TERMINAL MARKET
Location: Bronx, NY
Client: The Related Companies
Awards: NY State Brownfield Award
Services:Site/Civil; Geotechnical; Environmental; Natural Resources & Permitting
Adjacent to the Harlem River and immediately south of Yankee Stadium, the
redevelopment of the 18-acre portion of the Bronx Terminal Market included demolition
of several of existing buildings, and development of approximately one million square
feet of new retail, restaurant and neighborhood services, structured parking for 2,800
vehicles, and a 250-unit hotel.

HADDON TOWNSHIP BROWNFIELDS DEVELOPMENT AREA
Location: Haddon Township, NJ
Client: Haddon Township and Fieldstone Associates L.P.
Completion: Ongoing
Langan prepared a successful application that resulted in a six-plus acre redevelopment
area being designated a Brownfield Development Area (BDA). When the project is
complete, the "Towne Center at Haddon" will be a mixed-use, transit-oriented
development that will revitalize the downtown area.

US EPA BROWNFIELDS GRANT
Location: Norristown, PA
Client: Municipality of Norristown
Langan’s Grant Writing Team secured $400,000 from the US EPA Brownfields Grant
Program on behalf of the Municipality of Norristown, Pennsylvania. This funding will
help Norristown identify and assess brownfield sites for redevelopment. Langan’s Grant
Writing Service specializes in identifying and acquiring state and federal grant funding
for a wide range of environmental and land development services on behalf of our
private and public sector clients.

OHLONE COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Location: Newark, CA
Client: Ohlone Community College District

Services:Environmental; Geotechnical; Earthquake/Seismic
Langan Treadwell Rollo performed environmental investigations for Ohlone Community
College, an 80-acre former agriculture site. Our team provided an evaluation of soil,
groundwater, and air quality. We also performed a master plan and design-level
geologic hazard evaluation and geotechnical investigation.

SIERRA POINT BUSINESS CENTER
Location: Brisbane and South San Francisco, CA
Client: Opus West

The Sierra Point Development is located on a former municipal waste and construction
debris landfill. Langan performed investigations and provided design/construction
support including perimeter levees, 5- and 8-story office buildings, a parking structure,
and two 6-story hotels.

TAYLOR COLLIERY - BROWNFIELD GRANT
ADMINISTRATION
Location: Taylor, PA
Client: Development Authority of the Borough of Taylor
Langan was selected to administer a US EPA Brownfields Cleanup Grant on behalf of
the Development Authority of the Borough of Taylor. The site consists of two parcels of
property, totaling approximately 150 acres, located within a historically industrial area.

BROADWAY GRAND (PARCEL B)
Location: Oakland, CA
Architect: MBH Architects
An environmental site assessment was performed by Langan Treadwell Rollo to identify
the presence of hazardous substances or petroleum products on the former
Negherbon/Broadway Grand property. The project consists of both residential and retail
properties.

Langan Treadwell Rollo performed a foundation investigation for the seismic
strengthening and renovation of the two-story Clock Tower and Mustard Buildings and
