to better serve you!
To ensure that you receive the optimal ReDefined Internet Banking experience, we recommend
you take a moment to update your preferred browser and check your browser’s settings so that
your computer is properly registered and recognized by TCU Internet Banking.
Updating Your Browser
To update your preferred browser to the latest version, please click on the link of the browser
you would like to update below. This link brings you to the browser’s official website which
provides you with instructions to download and install the latest version of the browser.

By updating your preferred browser, you’ll fully enjoy the convenience and enhancements of
TCU’s ReDefined Internet Banking experience.
Ensure Your Personal Computer is Properly Registered and Recognized by TCU Internet
Banking
Each time you log in to TCU Internet Banking, our system evaluates whether you are using the
same computer and browser you regularly use for this service. If our system identifies that you
are utilizing a new browser or new computer, we will ask you to identify yourself again by
providing a code that you receive by email or text. After your computer is registered, you
shouldn’t need to provide a code again for that computer using that browser. (Note: Each time
you use a public computer, you must provide a code as a security measure)
On rare occasions, people cannot log in without registering their computer each time – even
after they have registered it already. If you are experiencing this, try changing the settings on
your preferred browser with the steps below.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR MEMBERS USING INTERNET EXPLORER: After updating and
changing your Internet Explorer browser to the optimal setting, ReDefined Internet Banking
may not display correctly because of the Compatibility View settings. If this occurs, please
follow the steps within the Internet Explorer section you are using to turn on Compatibility
View.
Google Chrome

Go to tcunet.com and do not log in.

Click the wrench icon
Select Settings.

At the bottom of the Settings window, click Show advanced settings…
in the top right corner of the browser.

In the Privacy section, click Content settings.

In the Cookies section, make sure that Allow local data to be set is selected.

Click Manage exceptions.
On the Cookie and site data exceptions window, click in the Add a new hostname pattern box.

Type [*.] and then our web site name (for example, [*.]tcunet.com).

In the Behavior box, select Allow.
Click OK.
Click OK.
Exit the Settings window.
Log in to TCU Internet Banking, selecting Register computer for future use when prompted. Supply the
text or email code as soon as you receive it.
The next time you log in, you should not need a code.
Internet Explorer 9

Go to tcunet.com and do not log in.

On the Internet options window, click the General tab.
and select Internet options.

In the Browsing history section, click Delete…
On the Delete Browsing History window, the top option is Preserve Favorites website data. Make sure
this option’s check box is selected.

Click Cancel. (This retains your setting without deleting cookies at this time.)

Click OK.
Log in to TCU Internet Banking, selecting Register computer for future use when prompted. Supply the
text or email code as soon as you receive it.
The next time you log in, you should not need a code.
Turning on Compatibility Mode on Internet Explorer 9

In the Tools menu, click Compatibility View settings.

In the Compatibility View Settings window, type tcunet.com and then click Add.
Internet Banking should now display correctly in Internet Explorer 9.
Internet Explorer 10
1.
Go to tcunet.com and do not log in.

On the Internet options window, click the Privacy tab.

Notice where the slider is. Move the slider to a point that is not the highest or lowest setting.
and select Internet options.

Click the Sites button to show the Per Site Privacy Actions window.

In the Address of website box, type our www.tucnet.com and click Allow

Return to the Privacy tab (and return the scroll bar to its original position, if you wish). Click OK.

Turning on Compatibility Mode on Internet Explorer 10

In the Tools menu, click Compatibility View settings.

In the Compatibility View Settings window, type tcunet.com and then click Add.
Internet Banking should now display correctly in Internet Explorer 10.
Mozilla Firefox

Go to tcunet.com and do not log in.
At the top of the browser, click Tools and select Options.

On the Options window, click Privacy.

In the History section of Privacy, select Firefox will: Use custom settings for history.
Make sure the check box for Accept cookies from sites is selected.
Make sure the check box for Accept third-party cookies is selected. It is acceptable for other check boxes
to be selected, as well.
Make sure that Keep until they expire is selected in the Keep until setting.

Click Exceptions.
Verify that our web site is NOT listed on the Exceptions-Cookies window. If it is, select it then click
Remove Site.
10. Click Close.
11. Click OK.
12. Log in to TCU Internet Banking, selecting Register computer for future use when prompted. Supply the
text or email code as soon as you receive it.

Safari

Go to tcunet.com and do not log in.
In the left corner of the toolbar, click Safari to display a menu.
Click Preferences to display the Preferences box.

Click Privacy to display that tab.

Do not click Remove All Website Data.
For Block cookies, make sure that Always is not selected. Select either of the other choices. (If From third
parties and advertisers was previously selected and Safari still deleted our cookies, try changing this selection
to Never.)
Click the close button
to save your settings and exit the Preferences box.
Log in to TCU internet banking, selecting Register computer for future use when prompted. Supply the text or
email code as soon as you receive it.
