heroes who have served this great
nation. The club members really got
into the spirit and got to hang out with
Bat Girls, Iron Man, Super Man, and
Pajama Girl just
to name a few.
We talked about
the sacrifices our
veterans
made
and make every
day to protect our
future and our
freedom
as
Americans.
Thank you to all
our HEROS!

Prior to McGladrey Classic a PGA
Golf Tournament at Sea Island the
golfers club members over for a Youth
Day. The kids were amazed by Chuck
“The Hit Man” Hiter infamous trick
shot show. There was also a putting
tournament
with
PGA
TOUR
professionals, Special Olympics, and
Boys and Girls Club members. First,
second and third-place winners took
home trophies, but everyone who
participated in the tournament left a
little richer for the experience.
The St. Simons Island Rotary Club
sponsored the Swing for Kids Golf
Tournament in conjunction with
Nalley Auto and McGladrey Classic as a
fundraiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of
Southeast Georgia. The unique thing
about this tournament is each team
was paired up with a club member. It
was a great fundraiser and a fun way
to introduce our members to a Golf
Tournament. A great introduction to
golf, just how much fun it is, and how
difficult of a game it can be!
