The U.S. Department of Commerce selected Cosmoprof Asia 2009 as one of Asian trade shows to receive
upgraded support under the “Asia Now” program. The key objective of “Asia Now” is to increase U.S. exports
to Asia by assisting U.S. companies to approach the Asia market on a regional basis and by encouraging U.S.
firms already exporting to one or more Asian markets into additional Asian markets. To accomplish the “Asia Now”
objective, we have prepared 14 Asian cosmetic and toiletry market briefs, we will schedule one-on-one counseling
meetings with sector specialists from various Asian markets; and will be bringing buyers from surrounding
countries to meet you at your booths and at the cocktail reception that you are all invited to attend. Our sector
