Whole House Mechanical Ventilation System

The AirCycler® g2-k provides the most economical solution to whole-house mechanical
ventilation by combining the best aspects of both central fan integrated ventilation and
exhaust fan ventilation.
How does the AirCycler® g2-k work?
Anytime the home’s central fan is turned on by the thermostat to
provide heating or cooling, the AirCycler® g2 opens the fresh air
damper to let in a measured amount of fresh air. The fresh air is
then distributed uniformly throughout the home. Once the
ventilation requirements are met, the damper is closed to prevent
over-ventilation.
Should normal heating and cooling cycles not run long enough to
provide the required ventilation, the AirCycler® g2 will power on
the smaller and more economical exhaust fan, typically an existing
bath fan, to provide the remaining ventilation. With no need to run
the large central furnace to provide additional ventilation,
homeowner complaints of cold air or noisy operation are
eliminated and efficiency is drastically improved.
EXAMPLE
According to codes, you must add 30 CFM of continuous ventilation. You
measure 90 CFM from the fresh air duct to the air handler. You measure 60 CFM
exhausted from the bath fan. You can spend a lot of money on a HRV or ERV, or
simply let the AirCycler® g2 use what you already have.

TWO SETUP OPTIONS
Calculated Flow
If you know the amount of fresh air that goes into
the air handler as well as the flow required by
code, you can simply enter them into the
AirCycler® g2 controller during set up. The g2
will do the rest.
Calculated Time
If you’d prefer to configure the amount of time
you want fresh air ventilation per hour, you can
enter the total minutes per hour into the
AirCycler® g2. The g2 will do the rest.
