Profile
Blake is a consummate musician: a session drummer, music producer, bandleader, educator, and
author who is dedicated to creating great music. He has performed on 500+ songs in the studio,
performs 50+ shows a year, and works with many talented artists, bands, singers, songwriters, and
producers including some of today’s biggest stars.
From 2007-2015 Blake co-founded and co-managed a successful team of twelve top session
musicians, the Backliners. In 2014 Blake founded a high-end drum recording & teaching
facility, Unleashed Drum Studio. In 2016 Blake co-founded and co-manages a high-end collective of
50+ popular session musicians, the LA Session Group.
Blake has helped countless drummers of all abilities improve their musicality through his inspirational
private lessons, the four Drumset Method Books he has written, and his original Play-Along
Compositions.
