COLD FORMING WITH OUR PulS TECHNOLOGY
Our Bonderite® family of lubricants address the most difficult forming applications.
This technology is proven throughout the industry to perform with the consistency
and quality to develop high quality parts. The BONDERITE® FL series of dry film
polymer lubricants is a sustainable response to the traditional and time consuming
phosphating process. An alternative to reactive and non-reactive soaps, these water-based,
dry-in-place coatings are compatible with traditional pretreatment technology. These dry
film products offer advantages that address the shortcomings of phosphate and soap.
Bonderite® FL is a one-coat, non-reactive coating that reduces process steps, and is
flexible enough to be applied in a batch process, as well as in an in-line process.
Bonderite® FL benefits include:
• Increased process efficiency
• Prolonged tool life
• Reduced energy consumption
• Easy bath control

LUBRICANTS
SOLID LUBRICANT Additives
Henkel’s Bonderite® solid lubricant additives offer superior lubrication qualities, while
providing a definite competitive edge. Uniquely dispersed, slippery microscopic graphite,
molybdenum disulfide, boron nitride or PTFE particles enhance the effectiveness of liquid
lubricants. They create a durable, low friction lubrication film that liquid lubricants alone
cannot match. When added they enhance performance by:
• Reducing friction and wear
• Reducing energy consumption
• Improving load capability
The high performance value of Henkel’s solid lubricant additives, their high and low
temperature advantages, and the non-degrading immediate benefit characteristic make
them unique compared to liquid chemical systems. The mechanism of behavior for a solid
lubricant additive does not involve a chemical reaction with the surface or within the
lubricating fluids.
Henkel’s solid lubricant additives can be used in a wide variety of automotive, industrial
and consumer lubricants. Major applications include engine oils, engine treatments, gear
oils, greases, maintenance or service lubricants, chain lubricants and lubricant aerosols. In
all applications, Henkel’s solid lubricant additives help generate more profits through better
performance and longer equipment life.
