Data Point Over Time
Wet Lubricant
Dry Lubricant
Through laboratory evaluation, we were able to test and qualify a dry
lubricant to replace the current wet lubricant. The graph above represents
how these two products (dry and wet lubricant) were comparable in
metalforming lubrication.
Henkel provides the dry film Multan® DFL Series of products for
heavy drawing applications. Products feature Multan® DFL-55HSTM,
an organic coating that can be mill applied to ferrous and
non-ferrous substrates to replace mill oils, prelubes and drawing compounds.
Multan® PL Series
Henkel offers the Multan® PL Series for a variety of stamping operations where a straight oil is required.
These products feature Multan® PL-101TM, which acts as a light stamping product with multiple automaker approvals
and also operates as an extended corrosion preventative.
