So what exactly does it do?
Okay.. so you know those movie, music and photo you have on your PC or the
ones you watch online? Each of those file is encoded with some form of compression, hence the difference in file type such as .MOV, .MPEG, .AVI, WMV, MP3,
.MKV or .”whatever”. In order to execute or play these files, a software decoder is
required to play back (typically a software you install on your PC). In this case, the
AIOS HD Media Center’s built in hardware decoder allows the unit to decode and
playback any file format without use of a PC!!

Think of it as a Media Center PC ... minus the PC part. AIOS HD Media Center is
based on the latest embedded technology that specifically designed to be a part
of your home entertainment systems. It is a hybrid device that bridges Multimedia, Internet and your big screen TV.

With your HD TV turned to the correct input channel, now flip the rear toggle
switch to the “ON” position.

Do you know you can playback from the following Devices?
- Hard Disk Drive (HDD): AIOS has the capability of housing any 3.5” SATA I/II Hard
Disk Drive (HDD) up to 3TB of capacity. This allows you for faster playback and
portable storage on the go.
- USB: You can connect any USB Storage devices such as USB Pen Drive, External
Disk Drive, Camera, HUB, or any other USB storage devices.
- Flash Card: the built in flash card reader can support SD/SDHC/MMC/MS Pro
flash media.
- Network Storage and PC: your AIOS HD Media Center is like a PC on the network,
so it also can access other Desktop PC, Notebook or Network Attached Storage.

File management Tools
You can also manage any files that you have access to weather its local connected
device or networked devices. By selecting a file of choosing (any file), then press
the GREEN button at the bottom of the remote to bring up the file management
tools. From there you can choose to COPY, Delete, Move, Rename, Edit Playlist or
Photo Album, Send to Buddy via GoogleTalk or execute the above commands for
multiple items.
File Indexing Mode
The AIOS HD Media Center comes default with File Indexing Mode off, you can
turn it back on in “Setup”, “System”, then turn “Scan Storage” to “On/ Off/
Resume Scan”. This mode will scan all recognized files each time you turn on the
system and list them in Video/ Audio/ Picture sub-category for you. Note, the
initial scan make take a few moments.
The Difference in RAW or LPCM output
RAW: as defined is the RAW output from the file that it was originally encoded
with. This option is recommended if you have a digital receiver to decode digital
audio in its raw format.
LPCM: Linear pulse-code modulation (LPCM) is a method of encoding audio
information digitally. This is recommended if the device is connected to a TV or
other devices that cannot decode RAW audio output.
Connect to your home network wire or wirelessly.
AIOS HD Media Center supports the latest network technology including Gigabit
Ethernet and Wireless 802.11n. For the best result in streaming of HD contents,
connect the Media Center to your Gigabit Router. To configure, go to “Setup” in
the main screen and “Network” tab, then “Wired Lan Setup” or “Wireless Setup”.

Start browse and playback all your favorite media files via connected USB
Storage Devices, Flash Card, Installed 3.5” Hard Drive, Network Attached
Storages, Network PC or other great internet feeds.
Download management Tools
With a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) installed, you can enable the built in download
management tool. This allows you to enable Peer to Peer network client for fast
and secure downloads. To configure, go to “Setup” in the main screen and
“Network” tab , then “BT Process” or “Transmission PT Process”.
Turn AIOS Into a File Server
With an internal Hard Disk Drive (HDD) installed. You can turn your AIOS HD
Media Center into a FTP server which allows file transfer over network remotely.
To configure, go to “Setup” in the main screen and “Network”, then “FTP Server”.
You can also enable Samba by turning “Samba Process” to on. This will enable you
to access the AIOS via internal network.
