What We Believe...Calvary Chapel is a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our greatest desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations, as such. We are opposed only to the emphasis of non-biblical teaching that divides the Body of Christ. We believe the true basis of Christian fellowship is God’s love, which is greater than our differences. Without His love, we have no right to say we are Christians. • WE BELIEVE worship of God should be spiritual! Therefore, we remain flexible so the Holy Spirit may direct our worship. • WE BELIEVE worship of God should be inspirational! Therefore, we give great place to music in our worship. • WE BELIEVE worship of God should be intelligent! Therefore, in our services, we emphasize Bible teaching so God may instruct us how He should be worshiped. • WE BELIEVE worship of God is fruitful! Therefore, we look for His love in our lives as the greatest evidence that we are truly worshiping Him. We love to have you connect here at Calvary! The calendar below shows our home groups, support groups, Bible studies, and teams that meet on a regular basis. Getting involved is the best way to get to know others! Tear off the “Get Info” section and drop it in the “Prayer Request” box in the narthex if you’re interested in getting more connected and we’ll be in touch! We Welcome All Visitors! Thank you for joining us this morning! We hope you enjoy your time with us today and invite you to return to worship with us again next Sunday. We have nursery care and classes available for all children up through 8th grade. Since children learn on a different level, we encourage you to have your children participate in these classes. Some content of the adult lessons may not be suitable for children. If you choose to have your children remain with you, we have a Family Viewing Room available on the 2nd floor. At Calvary Chapel Lebanon, we do not take a formal offering (2 Corinthians 9:7). Please do not feel obligated to give. You are our honored guest and your presence here is what is important to us. Please feel free to tear off the GET INFO section and place it in the Prayer Request box in narthex. Someone will gladly be in touch! Parents: If you have a little one with you in the main assembly who starts to get noisy or restless during the service, we ask that you respond quickly by taking them to our Family Viewing Room (2nd floor). We have a live feed of the service so you won't miss but a moment. Mothers of babies are welcome to use our “Mother’s Room” in the nursery, which also has a live feed of the service. Our Vision: Most people want to grow in their relationship with God; they just need a safe place where they can get help with their own issues, where they can get their God questions answered and learn about God’s Word. Calvary Chapel Lebanon’s vision is to provide a safe, loving community where the word of God is taught without compromise, chapter by chapter in a contemporary setting, all under the umbrella of prayer. Ministry Highlight What is GriefShare? It is a place where hurting people find healing and hope through the truth, comfort and strength of God’s Word and presence. The 13–week program is designed to help the hurting recover from the deep pain of loss; the death of any loved one, relative, or friend. Grief is not an enemy or a sign of weakness. It is a sign of being human. Grief is the cost of loving someone. GriefShare is an emergency room for the grieving. You will learn how to walk the journey of grief and be supported along the way with tender, loving care of folks who are acquainted with grief and understand the devastation of the loss of a loved one. Kindly direct questions to Maureen, 866-5491 or [email protected]. Get Connected—Join us at one of our recurring meetings!
