Ministry (Lavonia, GA) – Provides a Christian recovery program for chemically dependent women. • Northeast Georgia Food Bank – Distributes 10 to 15 million pounds of food annually to feed the ill, needy, seniors, and minor children in their 14-county service area. • Partnership Against Domestic Violence (Fulton & Gwinnett Counties) – Provides emergency shelter, crisis hotlines, and supportive services to abused women and their children and education programs for the public. • Power House for Kids (Toccoa, GA) – Provides services for victims of child abuse. • 2nd Chance Ministries (Toccoa, GA) – Provides education and prevention through programs; finds help for those addicted through interventions, referrals to in-house facilities and outpatient services. • The Guest House Adult Day Health Services (Gainesville, GA) – Provides daytime care for older adults and offers a safe, caring environment that continues to enrich the lives of the frail elderly. • Food 2 Kids (Stephens County) – Provides sacks of kidfriendly food – enough for at least six meals are handed out every week to children identified by school teachers, counselors, and officials as being most in need. • Gateway Domestic Violence Center (Gainesville, GA) – Through crisis intervention, comprehensive support services and community collaboration, Gateway Domestic Violence Center helps create an environment for safe, healthy, self-sufficient growth and violence prevention. • Meals on Wheels (Habersham County) – Delivers meals to the homes of elderly. • Reins of Life (Eastanollee, GA) – Provides mental, physical, emotional, behavioral, and spiritual healing by harnessing the powerful connection between horses and people. $100 PER PLAYER # Among the 2015 Northeast Georgia Credit Union Charities recipients are: Sign Up & Build Your Team of Winners!
